I would agree with this assessment. Being in North Carolina for over a month now, I have met more people from the Northeast on my block than native southerners.

That is so true. When it was something that might even benefit Verizon, they would still drag their feet if it would help the CLECs.

This is a classic case of abuse of power. Knowing how hard it is to "own" your own property, it is upsetting to think that the government can use this to come in and take what you have worked so hard for.

It may sound like arrogance but it seems to me that she is confident and proud of her accomplishments. You can't fault her just because she is just stating it. Obviously, anyone who doesn't like it is definitely not what she would be looking for.
