As much as maddux destroyed the mets as a brave from the time I was 12 to the time I was 22, I have a respect for him I have for very few ballplayers. I can't be angry at the guy. I'm just happy I saw him pitch live a couple times (Mets losses both, at least once in embarrassing fashion).

There's something about a guy who does it with piss and vinegar, obscene control, and possibly a home-plate umpire mind-control device, all while looking like the douche you copied your calculus homework off of.

It should be noted that the Yanks and Red Sox were the last two teams to integrate. I believe it took Boston a dozen years to realize that it would serve them well to have a black player

I've been bringing food and bottled water/soda to shea stadium my whole life. As long as it's not made of metal or booze, you're good (and booze keeps your balls nice and cool on the waddle in anyway).

In my experience with people who only eat organic (and I associate with quite a few of them), they are the same people who don't want anything to do with GMO

Of course, they should be separate standards.
