to be honest I think it's tantermount to bullying.
It looks bad for the community in general and shows Arrington's and Feldman's true colours.

From the conversations I've had with Shel (over email and twitter) he seems like a very nice guy and from what I can see he is very humble person.

What Feldman, Arrington (and to some degree Le Muer) are doing can be called bullying and apart from that not looked to lightly on in a legal sense these grown men are acting like school boys.

I actually enjoyed the show, however in regards to Winer, if you haven't met/listened to him before then yes he sounds a bit like a "you know what" however he knows what he's talking about and can be interesting.

in Facebook lets me back in… on Scobleizer
Robert,

Personally I believe you should still be banned from Facebook you broke their terms of use and as such the rules state you will be banned immediatly from Facebook.

I don't want you to download my personal details for you to keep.

As such I have emailed both Facebook and Plaxo informing them of my disgust that you stole my personal details and that you have been allowed back in.

in The MacMini HDTV revolution on Scobleizer
Robert has anyone ever told you that you talk utter rubbish, how is it now just a "revolution" when you hook up your mac mini to your HDTV.

Seriously. This is not a revolution, i know it makes for a good headline but it's not.

Laser TV's 100+ inches at only $400 is a revolution. A computer hooked up to your tv is not.

But wait it only becomes a revolution once *you* can afford it...

"Over here they don’t have really serious newspapers. That’s what the BBC is for, after all."

The Daily Telegraph
Financial Times
Sunday Times
The Times
The Guardian
The Independent
Daily Mail ("middle paper" - not tabloid not broadsheet)
The Scotsman (Scottish paper)

And those are just the nations...

And the BBC are mainly biased (they are funded by the government remember) and they keep getting in trouble for fixing TV shows, etc.

I have nothing really to say really.
Just wanted to test out this commenting system (sorry).

You can use torrents for legal matters you know... but of course that would be stupid ;)

The reason people "hate" Jason is because he speaks his mind on things that may be considered "sensertive". Personally I think it's refreshing from all the arse licking we see.

Go Jason and good luck with Mahalo.

in Giving Flock 1.0 Another Chance on philcrissman.com
For me it was the design that put me off, maybe it's just me but i like a simple design.

However some of the functions in Flock are very clever and can definitely see other 'mainstream' browsers picking up these features.

in The truth about traffic on the Internet on Scobleizer
The problem with things like TechMeme and the Technorati 100, is the fact that it's reserved for elite's, not saying this is bad, but most of the good stuff comes from the bloggers you stumble upon whilst browsing the web, and anyway would you call things like lifehacker and gawker blogs? I think we have to separate the publishers like Gawker Media and TechCrunch away from blogs and give them a new name.

in Dodgeball? Jotspot? Jaiku! on Scobleizer
I agree sort of, yes Jaiku has the aggregation features (aka social streams), but a major part of it is the twitter like functionality of giving status updates.

In it's current form I do see it as a competitor to twitter, but it will be interesting to see what they do around the corner what with Google on board.

But no, Jaiku will never really be able to 'defeat' twitter.

in Google: making big social media moves on Scobleizer
I've got a Jaiku account and think it's a great service, but I've stuck with twitter, why because I like the way twitter is so simple and easy to use, I like the fact that it's a platform for talking with friends, etc.

Also another reason I choose twitter over Jaiku is design, maybe it's me but I think twitter's design is much more pleasing on the eye.

It may also have something to do with the fact that most of my friends are on twitter.

But don't let me ruin Jaiku's day and I think a big congratulations is needed.

Having Google back you up is a good thing, and I'm guessing we're going to be seeing interesting things coming from Jaiku over the next few months.

Wooh way to go leo on the FSJ love - personally I'm getting sick of Daniel Lyons (Fake Steve Jobs) all his blog seems to be doing now is 'bashing' the hell out of others - I liked it when he made witty, interesting and in-depth blog posts.

Now it just contains a lot swearing oh well we can now go out and buy his new book, priced at just $15.61...
