I feel *exactly* the same way. I played in 2 leagues last year and I went to the championship in both (but only won one of. them).

This year I'm in 3 leagues and I'm not making the playoffs in any of them. Nor will I crack the top 10 in NFL pickem.

In one league, I had Tom Brady, Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, and Felix Jones.... you can imagine how that turned out.

I disagree with you about Vick though. How many different offensive coordinators and head coaches did he have in Atlanta? No quarterback can succeed when theres no stability with the coaching staff.

Vick did well considering what he had to work with.

It was kind of an unusual week... I was away from home for a few days, and Risse is on a trip to Seattle doing whatever women in Seattle do. So Sunday crept up on us kinda fast and we dropped the ball.

I think he'd be worth the money even if he did just return kicks, because its no secret that he's been their best offensive weapon over the last 2 seasons. I also beg to differ about Brian Mitchell... his greatest strength was that he was able to hang around the game so long ... which is pretty damned hard to do. If I had to pick between he and Devin... Id take devin.

I wasn't implying that Devin's entire career is now ruined, but his 2008 season is certainly looking that way. I guess you and I have different philosphies on an elite return man.. because if he scores at least 4-5 returns on a yearly basis I think he'd be worth every penny of his contract.

I dont have any problems with Chicago bringing him on the field for special packages occasionally, but to have him out there as a fixture of the passing game is a mistake IMO

I beg to differ.... I stated drew brees is on pace to break passing yardage records, Portis is leading the league in rushing yards (AP is 2nd).... Andre Johnson is leading the league in reception yards.... Witten is leading the league in receptions... So you cant say I based my picks on touchdowns alone because thats not accurate.

I didnt include linemen because although I know which teams have good offensive lines... I dont evaluate individual linemen enough to give recommendations on them.

I figured I'd rather not say anything at all than talk about something I dont know.
