Ugh, forget the bad grammar and jargon. I can't get past the yellow text on red background! My eyes are hurting just trying to focus on that. And what's up with using all caps?

Agreed. I use the new info to determine if the user is a spammer. I like Matt's point about including the bio. That would be really helpful.

They just need to write it better. Something like "ONLY 260 calories" or "400 calories less than a McGriddle!" It's all about the spin.

What a cool idea for a site. Readings lists like these are invaluable to keeping up with the latest trends in your field. And it helps you weed out the not-so-great reads before you waste a lot of time on them. :)

Aww, this is great! Thanks for sharing. I switched from Civil Engineering to English Education. Talk about having a hard time breaking the news to your parents. Then in my first year of teaching I realized there was no way in hell I wanted to teach. At least I was an adult by then. So I went to work for a software company doing tech support (I'd always loved computers anyway). And that's when the tech writing bug bit me. Five years later, and I'm still at it. :D

Good for you on not being scared to change majors. Or at least, ignoring that overwhelming fear and doing it anyway!
