in Mozilla is becoming disappointing on Community Guy
Hey Jake - The mashable story was based on a misleading article that made it sound like we're ignoring 80% of *all* the bugs we've fixed in Firefox 3. The reality is we've already made over 11,000 bug fixes (including feature and performance enhancements) in the code for Firefox 3. I'd encourage you to read the details here.

Hey Pete: Thanks for the review. We made this all on our own. :-) One of Mozilla's summer interns, Justin Scott, built this app and worked with a team of our other college interns - all avid Facebookers - to test, stage and launch it. Also note rockyourfirefox.com will route you directly to the Facebook app page.

@Iam: "Now, if Jobs had shown the second graph with significant Safari marketshare at the expense of IE, it would be an outright declaration of war against MS."

More of a declaration of war than the "Get a Mac" ads, where the PC is a clown?

Dude, Gallery is a serious PITA. I just installed it this morning. Wow. Way too much overhead in terms of configuration and a truly sucky upload experience. Maybe it's just the learning curve. I don't know, I spent about an hour with it this a.m. and have no desire to try it again.

Flickr is like butter compared to this. Way easier to configure albums and batch upload. The pro account there gets you unlimited uploads and storage. Downsides: it's $24.95/yr. You're locked into the look and feel of their galleries. No easy way to export your high res photos if you decide to leave the service.

This post feels like a candidate for a Vox QOTD :-) but I'll bite:
"Walking with a Ghost", White Stripes

My moment of Beltzner synchronicity, my alternate PowerSong(TM):
"Toxicity", System of a Down -- this will get you in an odd loopy running rhythm, but when the lightning strikes you will move.

Sounds like a great experiment. Let me know how it goes. I've been reading Anthony Bourdain's book Kitchen Confidential and he goes on and on about the importance of good stocks in cooking. But it does sound like it's something you have to do over a weekend in advance. Any way, yum.

Check out Coccinella as well. It appears to be free and only requires that users set up a free account on jabber.org:
