Not sure why, but I'm unable to reply to your message on my previous reply. But I wanted to let you know that your message about ultimately realizing that you never really liked the men to begin with resonated with me. Thank you for confirming that things will get better and resolution is near. It's hard to see it while you're going through it. But I guess that's where faith comes in.

Thank you for posting that. I want to add to it....

If I felt I were enough, I would just be ME and not try to be what a guy wants me to be or thinks I am. I would not sacrifice my desire for genuine intimacy and compatibility for the fear of wanting to be loved and accepted by someone who clearly is not for me.

I am saying "no" to putting other people's feeling before mine. That doesn't mean I have to be a self-absorbed bitch, but it does mean that I will start looking out for the better interest of me and my feelings rather than commiting to things out of temptation and people-pleasing.

I am riding the fence on this one, because a part of me wishes that many things in my past would've never happened and I yearn for the chance to "undo" some of the decisions I have made. But another part of me remembers a part in Tolle's "A New Earth" where he wrote that the situation we facing at this very moment is custom made for us to make us be the person we are ultimately meant to be (I'm paraphrasing, of course). So who am I to argue with a custom-made situation, especially designed for me? So with that in mind, I try to graciously deal with my past, and also the current moments, which will eventually be my past, and constantly ask myself what can I learn from this (as Oprah recommended)? It's not easy. But it gets better.
