my brain when reading this:

i got a poodle one from trisha for christmas, in homage to the "gilmore girls" line "oi with the poodles already" but... hm... i wonder where it is. i'm suddenly concerned i threw it away with the wrapping. i hope not.

i do have a brass unicorn music box and a plaster unicorn painted plaque, newly acquired from trisha's old housemate.

i just read american gods and it really made me want to go to a weird tourist attraction. especially one with creepy dolls. but yeah... it sucks when our old spots become decrepit.

i think so. i went to a valentine making party, and one valentine that was thought of (maaaaaybe by me... maaaaaybe because one of my friends had a booklet she got after getting her wisdom teeth removed that she wanted to use in a valentine)-- "i love you and that's the tooth!" she added, "and you are impacted and that sucks," but that's kind of how her valentines were going.

i was really critical of juno at first and then once the kimya music started playing, i got all mushy and noncritical, and was recommending it left and right, and then this girl who's recently started coming to quaker meeting, who's a transracial adoptee went and saw it and it really upset her and she sent me this link because she agreed with most of the critique, and i read it and was like, "awwwww, fuck."

i missed it, because of working, but stephen elliott came into the store the day after to tell us about it, and he mentioned that it was the last one ever? which sucks if it is true! especially because i made next year plans with something. and because it would be sad for the universe to not have it. alvin says sex work is out.

i moved all my stuff over-- with the comments (all manually and with the comments all as one big comment from me for each post).

thoughts such as... i really like it. i wish i had time and energy to add more to it. but since i don't, you can do what you want with it, too.

mmm... rain. i still miss florida rain so much lately. at the staff meeting on monday we were reminded that if there is a downpour we need to run outsie and make sure the drains are not covered, because the store might flood.

sf feels that way, too, to me. which might be why i've been writing it short deliberately as frequently as i can.

part of the reason that i want a quaker blog is because of the community of quaker blogs that is already present. i wish you luck finding something similar.
