Well Normal ScrapBoy provided by the site is whopping 25MB!!

Use this http://rapidshare.com/files/718028/scrapboy.zip ... Its just 3.2MB! Only difference is that this file does not contain .NET 1.0 ... so if you already have .NET 1.0 why waste bandwidth over 25MB download!

I agree that traffic does come a lot from search engines but a visitor when visits the blog and finds no new content for few days, he stops coming back resulting in traffic drop. This test applies to loyal readers of blogs.

Are you saying that mht created in firefox is larger than html files created from IE and Opera? MHT files will always be larger since they have all images, stylesheet, javascripts code embedded in a single file, whereas html files have just the text and images and rest of things are in a folder.

Bhumika » Nope...WLW's latest version supports Wordpress 2.3 Tags also. Just use Keywords field in it. Keywords(in WLW) means Tags in Wordpress 2.3 and Categories as usual for categories.

Does not happen with me. Maybe you are using a plugin which appears or works in Write Post page. Try disabling that plugin. Maybe that plugin is not compatible with Wordpress 2.5.

It won't show in regular save page as dialog box nor it has been designed to do so. It will either show in File menu as Save as MHT or in right click context menu.

You can even add the button on toolbar by right clicking Customise in toolbar area and dragging the Save as MHT toolbar button to the toolbar.

Yes, it is called Geotargetting. If you are a Indian and see baby products ads of USA region...would you click them? It is a good practice by Google to show ads depending on your location which Google comes to know by your IP Address.

Actually registry hack makes the executable files that come with Chrome run under Windows XP Compatibility mode. That's it. And if you feel unsafe by using the registry hack, undo those changes using unchrome.reg file.

Nothing harmful is done using that registry file.

Since Windows 2000 is officialy termed dead by Microsoft, nobody makes softwares compatible with it.

Yes, under that progress bar, it also shows a link with option to make HTML Version as default. While that progress bar is there, click that link and it will load HTML version on every visit to Gmail.

Somehow...it seems it caches the incoming links somewhere. Because even after using the code...old url keeps on displaying unless you change it once by using edit command. Somewhere the memory of incoming links get cached in either cookies on PC or somewhere on server.

Managed to edit to the correct feed url...atleast show all link points to the correct direction but in the widget it still says:

This dashboard widget queries Google Blog Search so that when another blog links to your site it will show up here. It has found no incoming links… yet. It’s okay — there is no rush.

Seems the toughest job...to edit the incoming links in Wordpress 2.6.2.

Yeah feeds are never counted in actual site traffic, but they provide great value. If you want to get advertisers for your blog, higher number of readers will help. Also sites like Text-link-ads.com value number of feed readers as well. So one should work hard towards increasing feed traffic as well.

iEntry has a habit of spoiling sites immediately after purchase. I once sold a directory to them, and now it does have nothing left in original. There were 6 wordpress themes on offer on that directory...but iEntry have dumped them.

Though I never misspelled a domain whenever I type a address in browser :lol:, but I think they can be a valuable asset still.

Companies should take care of misspelled domains and maybe register them along with actual names, so that cyber squatters don't get much chance.

Your site does not load in IE 6. It opens a bit and then says, it can't open Sizlopedia.

I tried your firefox code but it completely messed the theme. SO will try some other code. But still thanks for the idea. Didn't strike me!

That's because code in text file has one error

In last line instead of

it should be

At first I was a bit shocked by the post title. Converting here is a misleading term. You should say...how to extract mp3 files information from m3u files without using software. That will sound reasonable and practical.

There can be more reasons....

you are trying to watch the HD version or HQ version of a video which don't exist. Try switching to normal version by removing any fmt tag in url or clicking Normal Version link at bottom. Though..this can't be done for embedded videos.

Seems a cool site. But you need to add lot of features before it gets widely used by webmasters enough to replace Reditt and Del.icio.us!
