in Review: X-Men: The Last Stand on Is There Food?
I'd have to disagree with you. Fervently. While the movie was great in it's own right, it deteriorated after the first ten minutes. Seriously. The beginning was fabulous. I loved seeing glimpses into the childhoods of Jean and Angel/Warren. The battles in themselves were great. Use of Jamie/Multiple Man was well done. But Ratner (although I will extend blame to the writers also), failed to use the characters properly, or to their full extent. Angel, Jean, Juggernaut, particularily the credited cannon fodder, (I HATE it when they name the cannon fodder), and the list continues. Now, I recognise the fact that they can only cover so much charactisation in the time available, but our good friend Singer managed it and without naming cannon fodder! He even went to the trouble of spending some time with the characters taken from Marvel comics he intended on killing off. If such a task was too much for Ratner, then maybe he should have cut down on the character count.

Prefer X-men 2 by a mile. Hope that Ratner is NOT back for X-men 4.
