Great to hear Leo Laporte on a podcast. Haven't heard that since .... well yesterday.
Info for anyone who enjoyed that interview, or is generally interested in geek stuff, you can find Leo's podcasts at twit.tv or search for twit in the itunes store.
The most accessable for the boxcutters audience isn't actually a Leo podcast, but it is This Week in Fun. The name describes it aptly.
Leo mentioned the radio show, it is the Tech Guy podcast, as he said it is talk radio where people who have problems or questions about all things tech can call in and ask. He also has weekly guest speaking about Home Theatre and Digital Photography.
He also mentioned in the interview his former co-host Amber Mac, they combine for a podcast called net@night, in which they speak about all things weird and wonderful on the net.
All of the TWIT shows are great listening, for the geek and non-geek alike.

Pretty Pointless News: In Treatment starts on Showcase on Monday 29th at 8pm and continuing weeknights. For those who didn't download it, and have premium Foxtel is worth at least a look.

in Ep 147: Directing Live Television with Ray Punjer and Wilbur Wilde on Boxcutters - An Australian TV Podcast
A tangent if I may although Ray was a great guest, a big Hooray for Channel 10 (well actually 10HD) for starting its American Football coverage today. This week 10HD will be showing 4 games of American Football ("Gridiron") LIVE, with games varing between 3am and 9-10am starts.
I just say, please Channel 10, please keep attempting to drag the sporting monopoly away from Foxtel.

Saw the ad for 90210 last night, airing Sept 8 on Channel 10 (5 days after US air). However knowing crappy Channel 10 the double episode shown in the States will likely be shown over 2 weeks here so likely be more than a week late (and 2 or 3 weeks late by mid-season if it gets that far).

in Ep 126: Gladiators and East of Everything on Boxcutters - An Australian TV Podcast
No Josh, I didn't ever watch Nightcap. Did I miss anything??
I do still love my HD, and yes especially the sport, look out in the coming weeks, rumour is that the US Masters golf and most of the IPL cricket will be only on Ten HD, but i can't confirm that. Maybe the Boxcutters family can for me.
@jimbo: if you haven't seen Two and a Half Men in HD, you are missing out on subtle jokes that you can only get in HD.

Also like you, I loved watching Gladiators as a kid. I was disgusted that it was exactly the same damn show! The chick presenter is HOTTT! so that is a positive, but that is the only one. Tom Williams is crap, Bill Harrigan (former NRL referee) is terrible. Not having Tony Schibeci (notably from Radio SEN and the voice of the MCG) as the voice-over kills it for me. I'll give it one more week, but I don't think I can stand it any longer than that. Which is a shame.
