in Nokia N97: the ultimate Facebook device on Scobleizer
@ Charles Yu,
I'll try your itype app, but on idlehands app, I did manage to get 50wpm. :)

I have a friend who works in Marketing for Nokia, and he's always banging on about how great Nokia phones are..... and then begs me to let him play SuperMonkeyBall on my iPhone.

in Looking For Something New to Play This Weekend? on 148Apps
You left out the new releases just these two days:
Fastlane Street Racing and TouchTennis 09.
FSR features ultra smooth frames per second, and amazing graphics, with its own style of gameplay (Think Gran Turismo where you have to race smart and adjust to the car, then expect all cars to swing powerslides at 300kph)
Haven't had time to play TouchTennis yet, but the YouTube video demo of it looks very slick indeed. A far cry from Tennis Slam.

in The App Store could spread like wildfire through Apple’s product line on VentureBeat
This is a good article, well done.
As with some other posters, I also think that the iPod Classic will remain for some time, until the point where the production cost of SSD and HDD is the same. By that time, I'm hoping that the iPod Touch will have evolved some additional control methods like a in-line remote or even voice control (for in-car use).
The App Store is impressive for its infancy, and I also think that it will develop into something almost on par with the Music and movie store. The one key drawback is there is no demo functionality, and spending like US$50 for Netter's Anatomy is alot of money if you're not sure how much use it will be. Screenshots alone don't really do it. If iTunes can handle movie rentals with its FairPlay, why not with the Apps too? Either that, or the developers have to release dual apps, one "Lite" version for trying, and the other "paid" full version.
But anyway, you write some good balanced arguments, so I'lll be bookmarking this site for more of your thoughts.
