I saw that Montel show...it was great! I was in tears over what has been done to support the troops, and the first story was about this soldier above. It's so heartwarming.

That was an AWESOME show!

Montel had on his show the people you mentioned, plus a Muslim lady journalist and a Muslim scholar. Both were trying to get folks to think that there is an all out war against Islam. HELLO!!Who is the one who declared war on the West? They need to "check" the folks in their religion who is spreading this hatred if they are such a "peaceful" religion. I won't even go there anymore in this post...but Lou Dobbs, the middle class suffering, he's right. The mention of Chavez and trying to make him look in a good light, laughable. Same with Ahmadinejad, both are nuts.

I watch Montel here and there, I don't watch every show. There are times when I agree with him, sometimes, I don't. And the only thing on the show today that made sense was the fact that the middle class is struggling. Everything else was a bunch of crap.

Regardless of how old the pages were, Foley has disgraced himself and the office he held. It's disgusting. I could care less if he's homosexual, or was molested when he was young. That doesn't matter. What matters is his disgusting conduct while in office. Republicans talked about restoring dignity and values to government, they aren't "walking the walk" that's for sure!

I'm glad you put it up on here Ms. U, this is very touching. One thing I thought though, why would his buddies carry his casket through the clouds in heaven when in heaven, he won't be resting? He won't be dead that's for sure!

But bless him and his family and all those who fight for our freedom.

I think that people need to start taking responsibility for their actions instead of always blaming law enforcement. I'm sorry for the death of a beloved officer.

I think that America needs to get their households in order, I would have thought after 911 that we would come together as a nation and help each other and really get a sense of what it means to be an American. We have too many people who are taking whatever they can get and to hell with everyone else. And they think society owes them. JFK was the one who said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Why is it our society doesn't reflect that anymore?

I really think it's time to get our priorities in order. If we do not, then I dread what may come as a result of our selfish/evil actions.

It's a shame that it has come to the point that people would get more angry about someone burning a foreign flag on our soil than if our flag were burned!

People have become desensitized! We have GOT to wake up! Who else sees something wrong with this picture?!

I am in disagreement with Tom over staying at home on election day. If he only chooses a write-in candidate, or an independent...at least vote. When you don't vote, you essentially are not using your voice. Now, while I am not happy either with the President over the illegal immigration issue, I still will vote Reupblican if there are decent candidates running who I believe will work for the betterment of the country and the people, not focus on party politics and power in Washington. It's about doing what the American public want. So look at that when you vote in Nov., it's about the person. Not the party.

MsUnderestimated was right in telling the truth. These protests have gotten out of hand, why would someone come here and disrespect our flag and fly it updside down with the Mexican flag hovering above it? If you hate the US, why are you here? Most Americans want immigrants to follow the laws, come here the right way, legally. It's not hard to do, millions of other immigrants have done it. So...if you are here illegally, do it the proper way and stop protesting and demanding someone give you freebies for being here!

The Senate shouldn't reward illegal behavior and give people who are here amnesty...we want people who are here who love this country and will not tout Mexico's sovereignty over America's. Come here the right way instead of illegally!!

I'm another person that is tired of all this. Illegals don't have the right to drain the system of its resources! And you are surely right when you say that Vincente Fox should be helping his people instead of sending them over here. I think Pres. Bush needs to stop schmoozing with Fox as well, and tell him to get his act together.

I would hope that people who come here to America would assimilate, first of all. Make the effort to come here legally. Just like anyone else. Illegals, whether they be from Mexico or not, need to do the right thing...do it the legal way. Vincente Fox should be ashamed of himself.

This was disgraceful, a political stab at Pres. Bush at a FUNERAL honoring such a wonderful lady. To do it with Pres. Bush and our First Lady Laura sitting right behind them, and listening to all the rhetoric about WMDs, etc...it's just disgusting! They all made me sick.
