That's fully subsidized price for a new 2-year contract. Current AT&T iphone folks who aren't yet eligible for upgrade pricing have to pay more.

This is laughably transparent. You might as well place a giant "Sponsored and Spun by Big Labor!" over each and every article.

in Is the netbook market oversaturated? on Liliputing
Netbooks could have developed like cell phones -- sold based on feature coolness AND price, rather than one or the other.
That almost all netbooks are the same stems from a profit-driven laziness, not an inability on the part of engineers to come up with cool things.

Great, an optical drive.
Nice netbooklaptopdesktopreplacement. Why is every netbook maker hell-bent on NOT making netbooks any more? (Yes it's a profit motive but you know what I mean...)

No "bill passed on congress" - it's a state to state issue, there is no federal law against prostitution (there is something called the Mann Act, which makes it illegal to transport a woman across state lines for an immoral purpose, but that's it). Each state can enact its own laws on prostitution.

Dear Monica,
Its pretty hypocritical to be hanging out on a niche paintball website advocating gun control ideals. Why dont you "give up your guns" and join the Brady bunch.
Yours truely,
Bill

Sorry Bill, but if I owned an assault rifle or handgun, I wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing that someone could rob my house and then that weapon would be on the streets in the hands of someone unqualified to use it...and with the intention of using it to harm.
However Im sure youll sleep just fine, curled up next to your cousin in your NASCAR bed with your Larry the Cable Guy bedsheets.

MONICA..all MY FAMILY EATS IS WILD GAME. You must be a city person who believes processed food products are somehow healthy for you. I have NEVER bought much beef or poultry.
I've been lucky enough to live in or near the country and like NATURAL..non growth hormone, anti biotic, steroid ridden food products. And a HOT POCKET?
Try some stir fried venision strips over steamed rice, with corn on the cob on the side and some mashed potatoes...or do you even cook??? No nuking in the micro doesnt count.
Redneck? I've got 2 degrees..both in LAW. I currently run 3..count them.. three... businesses and am independantly wealthy...so NO..I'm no redneck.
You obviously are an opinionated bigoted person. I feel sorry for you.
Also...have you ever owned a gun? shot a un? ..oh...so you have no experience or knowledge what so ever of what the heck your talking about.
Obviously just regurgitating left wing media propaganda....put down the KOOL AID OK?
Oh...and I shot a nice 8 point buck on December 18th. TASTY!!! mmm mmm good!

Dear Monica,
Well since you asked, we ate Deer during Christmas break. We shot the deer right after I returned from NPPL Commanders Cup.
You clearly do not understand what your talking about, Monica. Standard "off the shelf" AR15 rounds do no good in deer hunting (it takes several rounds).
We use .308s for game hunting. .223 (AR15) is great for match and competition shooting. Many high profile members of the paintball community take part in these other "projectile" related sports. Im sure if we all stepped forward you would really be surprised.
Your ignorance is typical of anti-gun/paranoid side of American society. Keep watching MTV!
Love,
Bill

Keep making more assumptions and generalization...they only help to make you look like more of a stupid redneck, although your doing a pretty good job of that on your own.

Im asking a serious question. When is the last time you had to kill a deer to feed your family?
When is the last time you had to use an assault rifle to do so?

But they come with Modem Firmware 2.11.07 already, which is much newer than the above cracked basband nucleus.

Then you should WARN people about upgrading to 2.1 not to only to 2.2, cause 2.1 brings 2.11.07 baseband. This is at least true for a recently bought 2.1FW 3g.

Its all about the children Dave ... as you said, who cares what people do in their private lives. Legislation, however, makes it public. Look at it this way, me and my friends may build a little program and use it for our own private ends and call it Radio, or, Frontier, or what not. You wouldn't care. But if we start sharing that program all around, wouldn't you be just a whee bit upset?

Are you expressing your own opinion here, or are you trying to explain what you think people who voted for the measure were thinking.
Either way, the logical implications are appalling. It's hard to know where to start, but it sounds like an argument for gays going back into the closet. I don't see how that is a good thing for anyone, gay or straight.
It insinuates that roughly 50% are callous to the effect such legislation has on children.
Further, how is this not also an argument for denying rights to married hetero couples without kids.
There is more, but it doesn't really matter though. Those kids people are trying to protect from gay marriage, for the most part, they are much more open to the idea (which is not to say that they are any more likely to want to take advantage of it themselves, so you can calm down about that).

RIM is not thinking clearly. I have a curve and like it a lot. It runs JME. There is an SDK and even an Eclipse (IDE) plugin. Sounds great? But wait, neither the SDK (which is Java, remember) and the Eclipse plugin (which are at the end a Java bundle in form zip files) are distributed -- wait for it -- as a Windows exe file. As another Java developer said on BB's developer forum: "WFT?"
