Loved the post, and was feeling the same thing when reading the Globe this morning. The old-school writer in me vehemently sides with Christie, and the anybody-can-do-this-but-it's-harder-than-you-think blogger in me sides with you. It's messy, but I love the conversation - that's how you really know you're reaching your readers.

On that note, I just wanted to add one thing. What I love about the online version of papers like the Globe is the ability for readers to comment on a specific article. That's the messy part of all this - it's both journalism and blogging mashed up together, and I think it's the best part of the online edition. I don't ever see people talking about this, and whenever I cite something from the Globe in my blog, I almost always talk about the comments as they provide a real barometer of the article's value that you just can't get in the print edition.

Re: Control4 gives you control over your home devices, raises $20M

Hi Michael - am trying to contact you, and this seems to be the only way that works. I'm an independent telecom/tech analyst and would like to get in touch with you. Thanks.

Jon

Re: Jon Arnold on the Nokia N93

Grazie, Luca. Really appreciate your picking up on this. Most of the N93 reviews were done a while ago - I'm a little slow, but I had a lot to say!

I love your PayPay "buy me a coffee" link. That's great. If I ever get to Italy, I'll be sure to do that.

Re: Yahoo buys Hictu for $499,999,000

Congratulations, Luca! Sounds like they got a great deal. With that kind of coin, you can buy me a coffee! :-)

Re: Announcing The New LucaFiligheddu.com

Really like the new look Luca - it's great! Will definitely blog about this after Labor Day. It's great to showcase content by topic, but it must be way more work to keep them all fresh. I'm lucky to do one post a day, so hats off to you for this. Guest article - sure, count on me to contribute something soon - would love to.

Re: Can Jack make VoIP Magic?

Hi Carol;

We haven't been in touch recently, but I quite enjoyed this story. I was one of the first to blog about MJ, and people either love it or hate it. The comments on your article show this, as do those on my blog. Just thought I'd share that if your readers want another perspective: http://www.ipcom-insights.com/blog/jon/2008/11/...
