That way, if someone steals you user table, they can't tell if two users share the same password..

Re: The Carbon Footprint of a Burger

I personally think the average 3 burgers a week statement is wrong, the sample you did is probably flawed interviewing people inside a burger king i expect.

For the record, no one mention MCD because i struggle to find meat at all in there burgers.

Re: http://thehappyhospitalist.blogspot.com/2008/03/job-of-patient.html

Well said. I have a condition (dysplasia) caused by a structural abnormality that is (essentially) surgically not correctible. I was taught by a very good physician how to use medication etc to reduce the problems caused by this, and it's worked very well.

And re effort in == effort out (note the double ==...C programming will do that): After earning a couple of degrees, I found myself in a situation similar to yours (e.g., boring position with no long-term future). I decided to focus on one small area and be the best I could be at it, and am now a CIO for a tech company. Effort in *does* equal effort out. Luck doesn't hurt but ultimately effort and skill win out.

Re: http://slidingintohome.blogspot.com/2009/07/checking-out-pitching-market.html

For what the Yanks need, Bannister is the guy to go after.

The Royals won't ask too much for him, and he slots in great as a #4 in this rotation (Joba is a #5 in my eyes).

He's also a great fit for this rotation from 2010 on if he can live up to his potential. (CC, AJ, Joba, Hughes, Wang?, Banny).

Plus, making this trade wouldn't require any of the pieces it would take to acquire Hallady this season, or in the off season.

I am a strong believer in trading big (Joba, Montero or Jackson...not both and a lower level guy) for Doc.
