in CSS Wanting Layout Engines and Browser Warfare on Suburban Adventure
Unfortunately, not an option. Most folks have no idea what a browser is, let alone which one they are using.. How many are still using whatever came on their AOL CD? The difference between custom software and market software -- for custom software you only have to satisfy one user to be a success. for market software, you only have to PO one customer to be a failure.

I LOATHE Outlook. Scientists have conclusively proven that Mad Cow Disease is the only virus NOT spread by Microsoft Outlook.
I have to use it also.
Resistance is futile. You WILL be assimilated.

Welcome to my world. IE is a pain in the patuty, and I'm currently coding extrememly simple web pages to be served up by intelligent clocks.
I'm also trying to code something with Visual Studio 2008. At least three different application frameworks, each of which enforces a different strict and convoluted class hierarchy, and each of which is totally undocumented in any way that would let you find what class to use.
As Bill Gates said: "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated." (W3C is a daunty little starship, firing standards at them and then retreating.)

Opera has been my favorite browser since it was released in 1996. Care to explain what's wrong with it? I actually paid for it (twice) before it became free.
For a reasonable set of details on Opera, check the wikipedia article.

prag vs. dog -matic. There are enough examples for and against where it is claimed to either help or hinder comprehension.
Use where you feel it is needed for clarity. Rules are for people who can't think.
Hey. I got my first cast today (two weeks post impromptu ballet). It's big. It's black. I could kick serious butt if I didn't land on my own in the process.

Actually, lolcat is a minor issue.
With such diverse publications as "The Chicago Manual of Style" and Strunk and White on one side, and the "New York Times Stylebook" and "The Economist" on the other, I'm sure the world could most profit from the Robinson definitive auto-correction of the serial comma. Enquiring professional linguists are, I'm sure, begging to know.

I've waffled over the serial comma, right now I'm in favor of its usage,
previously I wasn't. What are you thoughts Crippled Folsom?

in New Prerelease Format on Suburban Adventure
Went downtown and played a sealed and then a 2HG with Tom. It sucked, but was still better than a local pre-release. I miss the old format, no pity packs, and I've come to rely on them.

in No File Extension Guessing Game on Suburban Adventure
Actually, EPS is an extremely common way to save graphics, especially vector graphics (which by definition excludes most of the formats you did try). EPS would be one of the first things to try if looking for vector graphics.
Illustrator, Corel Draw, and even winner for most powerful program with the worst interface, Gimp, all use EPS files.
For a reasonable explanation, see http://filext.com/file-extension/EPS.

At the onset, I didn't know if the file was vector graphics or not as I had
gotten two files and I assumed one was and was not. I assumed the smaller
file would be the vector graphic file as it seems reasonable that a
geometric representation would take up less space than a pixel by pixel
accounting. I look forward to seeing how stupidly small the raster image
is.
Boo, Graphics.

Congratulations. You've now created a website which will look different on Macs and Linux machines, both of which don't have Tahoma.

Quite your bitchin' you Helvetica-toting bastard.

You might take a look at Tahoma instead of Verdana. Same font, a little more compressed character spacing which looks better (I believe) printed.
Strangely enough, what is installed on my computer as Helvetica actually seems to be Arial (see http://www.ms-studio.com/articlesarialsid.html)

The entire OSR page is in Tahoma. I heart CSS.
2-It's not Firefox
3-It's insistence on web standards, which like 9 people use.
4-It's not Firefox
5-My brother uses it
6-It's not Firefox
I think my arbitrary and poorly backed up case it pretty air tight :-)
