I was sitting here reading Bill's blog about our trip on myspace (check it out, it's pretty damn funny), and Shirley came in and used this word!!! So cool!

Re: London Journal - Day 7, October 15

I've had a cornish pasty in LA at a British Pub - fantastic. Just so you know. Also love the bangers n mash! Thanks for the blog, my dear!

Re: Should I Match or Not?

Match.com is like the bar scene online. At least in LA it was. I found much higher quality people on eharmony, even though it's more expensive. You have to answer a ridiculous number of questions, and any guy that's willing to do it is more serious than any Match.com guy. the downside to eharmony? Bill and I were on it at the same time and it didn't match us up. So it's not the be all and end all like it says in the commercials. I would be willing to be set up by your friends, but maybe not family. I say do it, you never know what you'll find!

Re: TV Crack

I heard about that in a random way as well, and already have Tivo set! yay!!!

Re: Movie Resolution

ok you need to see Shindler's list, no matter how hard it is to watch. Seriously, do it now. I'm sure you'll say I need to see such and such movie - I know I know...

I'll email you my list.

Re: Tall, dark and just like me

Good profile, although yes, you might have trouble finding men who actually read on Match. I got the same response, winks from guys who hadn't read a thing. You might have better luck at eHarmony, 'cause anyone who goes thru the 500 question quiz thing is more serious than anyone on Match. I had the same situation on eH - they were all short! Good luck my friend, and I wish I could come with you on some of your trips!

Re: Dynamic Stall » In the Queue for 2009

um, the video didn't show anything...where are you going?

Re: Dynamic Stall » I Get My Brother & Sister Back

Same goes for my mom and stepdad. Was always hard to talk to her between Feb and 4/15! This year was easier, since she's moved away, not doing as many taxes. Say hi to them for me!

Re: 84 Charing Cross Road

I'll be your pseudo-bookish friend! Funny you mention Artemis Fowl, 'cause I bought one out of curiosity and read it. Not too bad.

I can't quote HP either, nor P&P. Four places I go to over and over: Work, grocery store, mother-in-law's, gas station

2. Four people who e-mail me regularly: Clay, Nicole, stepmom with spam crap, e-bills

3. Four of my favorite places to eat: In-n-Out (since you mentioned it), anything Bill makes in the kitchen, Old European Breakfast House, Red Robin

4. Four places I would rather be right now: the magic place where all my friends are together, Chatsworth House with you, Ireland with Bill, DC with Bill

5. Four people I think will respond: it's your blog, I have no idea :-)

6. Four TV shows I watch over and over: House, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway
