I would replace chagrin with delight. Democrats are actually hoping she runs in 2012. But I actually don't think she'll end up running. First she needs to decide she will. If that first step is taken, it won't be like last time where McCain just picked her. She first has to actually beat the other Republicans that will be running first, that means debates and such. And then if that happens, then she has to go against Obama. Palin actually fires up more Demorcrats to vote than Republicans. She's not ever going to be President of our country. The Republicans should and I think will have somebody more Center/Right. Not far right.

Hard fought election, McCain was gracious in his concession speech. Think Obama will make a good President, lots of work to do but he's a smart guy and will surround himself with good people. Hopefully (I think he will) he'll bring people together and get things done. And that will be good for all of us. Very historic night.

Looking more like 5%, but yep nice mandate. I know Bush actually lost the popular vote in 2000 and won by 2.5% in 2004.

Paying less taxes/tax cut is a bad thing? Because you'll probably be paying less under Obama. If that upsets you, you can give the money back, donate it to charity, flush it down the toilet, whatever.

And what does any of this have to do with current issues? Nothing. This reverand stuff didn't work the first time around. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is what.....

Here's another question. What do you think about Wright's service to this country in the Marines and Navy? And don't wait for Shawn or anybody else to offer an opinion first and then you jump in later. You're an adult, a lot older than me. Just for once, answer on your own and actually discuss the topic at hand.

You do realize growing up when he did and black in America, his experience is going to be a bit different than somebody who is white? Switch roles or read up on history/civil rights era and you probably can figure our where some of that anger stems from. And Obama actually went thru that in one of his more popular speeches.

Back to his wikepedia page. It's pretty impressive. If you want to judge somebody, judge them fully, not on snippets of sermons.

You know he left college to serve our country in the Marines? And then after a couple of years left and joined the Navy?

Shawn, everything I posted about Palin is true. Yes, what you posted about Obama is true also. But, what those ads and what you are not doing is connecting the dots. And they've tried that stuff months ago. It didn't work back then, why would it work now?

I thought this would be such a place but it turns out to be more of a haven for the fringe element of your party. So after Obama wins in a couple of days, this place for the next 8 years will just be even more of that. I have better things to do than listen to whiny, conspiracy theory type grown ups for the next 8 years. But every now and then I do like to talk politics and I'll message you with the forum I'm posting at, the one with real Republicans and Democrats. You're so obvious, let me lay out the map. You'll respond as usual calling me childish names, hoping to elicit a response like you did the last 30+ times. And Shawn what if it was found out your preacher was up to no good, that means you're up to no good? Or what if he said let's wipe Israel off the map on a day you weren't there, does that mean you want to wipe Israel off the map?

Because you know Palin was actually in church those days when her preacher said some of that stuff. Lots of Anti-Israel talk from her preachers. Oh, and the witch stuff too, end times etc.

It has been interesting this election cycle the right come up with things and being complete hypocrites in the process.
