in The Frog Theory - A Must Read on Sublime Wealth
This is right on. I remember the Carter years. That's why I cringe at the thought of Obama becoming our next president. In fact I think he will be worse. He is too naive to be the leader of the free world. He said before that Iran was too small a country to be a threat, and now he's eating his words. He said he would sit down with Ahmadinejad with no pre-conditions, and now he's backing off that idea. He says he'd pull all the troops from Iraq. How can he make this claim without being privy to the information that only the President will have? This is where McCain's experience is much more valuable to us than Obama's ill-informed tendency to jump to conclusions. McCain is also more forward-thinking in the way he will handle our dependence on foreign oil. He seems to be more aligned with T. Boone Pickens plan, which I believe is a very good one for our country. It was kind of funny to hear on the radio this morning that Al Gore was making some speech to challenge America to get 100% of our electricity from green sources. I think he's afraid that T. Boone Pickens has upstaged him with his recent commercials.
Oh, and why isn't anyone picketing Jesse Jackson for using the "N" word about Obama, and saying he'd like to cut off his nuts? He went out of his way to get Don Imus fired for some glib comment he made about the Rutgers women's basketball team. What Jackson said was just as bad. Does he just get a pass because he's black?
