This is a real condition and you should seek help for it.

This source looked pretty good to me. Maybe you'll find it useful:
http://www.adaa.org/GettingHelp/AnxietyDisorder... :

Re: Draw for Next Round of Champions League

Of course Chelsea are going to have the trickiest looking group - they weren't seeded!!

Re: FOX Reporter Squashed by Father’s Words on Wright

The reporter sounds more like someone behind the camera of TMZ or the National Enquirer...congrats Fox!

Re: Book Review: Thrillcraft

First, let me thank the owner of this website for allowing me to post here.

Secondly, moregreen, I sure am glad that you are done with that tirade.

"Oh boo hoo, I can't get cheap thrills to fill in my endless hours of boredom because I can't find anything meaningful to do in my shallow meaningless consumerist life."

---> Wow. That is pretty much all I can say after such a benighted statement. I guess this statement can be broken down to three large (and many more smaller) areas.

"...I can't get cheap thrills to fill in my endless hours of boredom..." Speaking only for myself, I find it hard to imagine that OHV consumers purchase their vehicles to alleviate boredom. I'm not absolutely sure but, when my dad brought home my first dirtbike at age 5, I didn't exactly jump up and down with excitement yelling "Yay! I don't have to be bored anymore!". I know that I thank God every day that I've been riding and racing since the age of 5 because I don't know where I'd be with all the boredom accumulated over that expanse of time. I don't know, I'd probably spend my time on the internet criticizing other people. Maybe with a latte next to me. And a copy of the New York Times in my lap. That, my friend, is a taste of sarcasm and generalization all rolled into one, easy to use, lesson. Your statement starts off ridiculous. Lets see how much more so it gets.

"...I can't find anything meaningful to do in my shallow meaningless _________ life." Organizing an effort to collect and save books to send to the less fortunate schools in Nigeria as a high schooler, working with orphans and run-aways at the local Youth Center during my late teens, performing trail maintenance throughout my riding and racing career, and going to school full time (with a full time job) to become a doctor to continue to help as many less fortunate people as I can CERTAINLY exemplifies a shallow and meaningless life. In fact, some days I wonder why I wake up at all, what, with all my boredom and meaninglessness I may as well stay asleep indefinitely!

...and finally...

"Oh boo hoo, I can't get cheap thrills to fill in my endless hours of boredom because I can't find anything meaningful to do in my shallow meaningless CONSUMERIST life." Is it not already sufficient enough to generalize a population by assuming that you, alone, can define a meaningful life? But now you will throw in the kicker, political ideology. Very good! Much like a younger sibling to his elder, you know very well how to get the proverbial goat! But experience and rationality will counter. The OHV rider is not at fault, according to your statement. You blame consumerism. Great. By all means, throw every ounce of energy (not to exceed the likely 2,000 calories that you ingest of oats daily) at bringing down consumerism. I can respect someone for fighting an institution that they disagree with. HOWEVER, I cannot respect someone who is hypocritical of their own beliefs (yes, you are using a computer that was purchased by somebody, on the internet that you pay for, with energy that you consume). If it is consumerism that you so vehemently dislike than why are you fighting OHV usage? Capitol Hill is that way---> I would suggest that you head over there and start to lobby against consumerism. Better walk, wouldn't want to be hypocritical and buy something along the way.

"Try doing something real with your kids, your family, your neighbors. Learn about the real outdoors. You will find it healthier, cheaper, more rewarding, and a very useful long term survival skill that actually decreases stress and helps you lose weight instead of making these things worse."

---> Judging by the idiolect you use throughout your ramblings, I would venture to guess that you have, in your infinite experience with the "real" outdoors, not decreased stress in your own personal life. Nearly every sentence, now matter how long (you may want to revisit 6th grade English and review run-on sentences), is filled with provocative words instead of "meaningful" statements of fact and reason.

Oh wow, you return once more to your statement at the beginning of your lecture.

"People who use recreational vehicles as anything other than a useful tool for real work are nothing less than overgrown selfish foolish children looking for cheap and meaningless thrills to make up for their lack of any meaning in their shallow and pathetic consumerist lives."

--->Exactly right. You rest your case. Verdict? Your ignorance allows irrationality to dominate your thoughts and writings. Oh my! Using RECREATIONAL vechicles for anything other than "real work"? I believe that is what they call a non sequitur. When you are on Capitol Hill, make sure that you let the people know that they mustn't use their recreational vehicles for recreation. Recreation vehicles should only be used for "real work"! I like you, you crack me up! But enough joking around...

"People like these are why more and more areas are finding barbed wire strung across trails at neck height, not just on private land but public land too."

--->People like you are why more and more OHV riders (even the children, always think of the children) are killed yearly. It is NEVER ok to string barb wire, or any other device meant to harm another individual, across a known riding path, regardless of whether or not it is private or public land. The land you "save" is not worth the death of a SINGLE person. And this is a critical juncture between radical "environmentalists" and radical OHV riders. Some radical "environmentalists" actually do not mind harming and/or killing another human being to further their cause. Some radical OHV riders just ride all over the place with little care for others aesthetics and the environment. Personally, the sanctity of human life is paramount to the soil displaced by their rear wheel(s). A RATIONAL human being can read this and make their own decision. I do not promote the killing of another human being who's only "crime" was to ride around the land carelessly. I would rather let Darwin's theory take effect.
