Hope all is well. Doug Mitchell here of the Des Moines blogganostra. I've used www.centraldesktop.com now for years to avoid the pain of dealing w/IT, being simple enough for most to understand, while having enough features/functions for the bell and whistle happy. They have internal blogging features, etc. It's very complete.

over at steve pavlina's site you can read about his 30 day fully documented 100% raw food experiment for research. i think the toughest part is getting enough calories from non-fatty veggie sources.

the newspaper biz has had its head in the sand for a very long time probably due to wall st./investor/bank relationships, etc. my strategy would be web first with a local round up delivered via multimedia first, printable second, and "magazine 3rd". as you've seen first hand, citizen journalism while flawed in some cases has totally displaced the ability of a "newspaper" behemoth to respond. huyperlocalism rules. slow corporate news ship...not so much.

I've already installed jungledisk and s3hub. s3hub feels like the FF s3 plugin at first glance. having drag/drop in jungle disk appears to be the big bonus methinks. nice post.
