Yo creo que se puede ayudar en momentos críticos a sectores concretos, pero pedir una tarifa mínima impuesta por el estado en las transacciones entre particulares, en fin. Por otro lado, toda la UE vive de subvenciones y aranceles, es lógico que las compañías de transporte quieran su tajada.

Nada que objetar, estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices y me gusta como lo dices. No obstante, ¿no es "razonable" que un sector reclame un IVA menor, puesto que otros sectores, o el mismo en otro país, lo tienen? Hablando de actualidad, se dice en la noticia que enlazas que el miembro del piquete atropellado en Granada se dirigía a informar a quien lo arrolló sobre los motivos de la huelga, ¿de verdad? ¿es esa la actitud y misión de los piquetes? He oído que el responsable se dió a la fuga; yo hubiera hecho lo mismo, la alternativa sería que me informara el resto del piquete.

Interestingly, according to FIFA, the allowable dimensions are different for international and 'standard' games:


Standard Games:

Length: Min 90 m (100 yds) / Max 120 m (130 yds)

Width: Min 45 m (50 yds) / Max 90 m (100 yds)



International Games:

Length: Min 100 m (110 yds) / Max 110 m (120 yds)

Width: Min 64 m (70 yds) / Max 75 m (80 yds)



So, the rules for international games do not allow pitches to be as large as for other games and the range of valid dimensions is much narrower. The maximum size of a pitch that can be used for international matches is therefore 120 x 80 = 9600 square yards.

I think you're overplaying Reyes' contribution to Real's league title last year. Granted, his two goals in the last game against Mallorca (particularly the equaliser) played a big part in that particular triumph and led to speculation that he might stay at Real. But don't forget that before that game he was considered by most to be surplus to requirements in the upcoming season. He did not settle, and he did not perform well enough, given his billing as a top winger.

Inetersting that Real's "apology" did not make it into any of the Madrid sports papers. One gets the impression it was a negotiating ploy that backfired (and made Ajax a few million more)

Van Nistelrooy has not been named in the 24-strong squad that will play Sevilla in the Supercup 1st leg. Metzelder is also injured.

Actually, the money from the sale of Torres hasn't gone into Atlético's coffers at all, but straight into the Spanish Inland Revenue (Hacienda) with which the club has a huge debt.


This is not to detract from the main point of the article which implies that becomeing less Torres-centric maybe a good thing for Atlético. However, they only just squeaked into the UEFA cup by beating Romanian side Gloria Bistrita in the Intertoto this weekend, so they're a long way from putting together a side to challenge for anything higher than 6th spot in the league.
