Well, this certainly sounds like a good time. I have been thinking about delving into real Victorian literature, but maybe this would be more fun.

Perhaps I will check it out. It might be good to paint to, I sort of like non-intrusive music when I'm working. This is to be my last crummy day of dial-up! I'm going to be drowning in lolcats and 100+ channels of digital TV tonight!

I look forward to hearing some of your music, and soon, I hope. We just got a new computer. I hadn't even bothered to connect speakers to my old after we moved here, it's too old and slow and our dial-up connection, also slow, prevents me from listening to music via the internets. I hope all of this will be remedied soon.

If you're still coming out on Friday, you should make me a CD of your stuff, good stuff that I can play in my paintin' studio. I rarely get any new music.

Annie, my doll-making friend, thinks it would be good if we dressed like Victorian schoolmarms and beat people for $. She's almost got me thinking it's a good idea. My friend, Niall, did an awesome pointillist picture of me as a Victorian schoolmarm spanking a french maid. I'm going to try to post it on my blog this weekend.

awww. baby derek is sooo adorable. It's strange that my own son is already four and doesn't look so baby-ish anymore. I'm not going to fall for it, though. I'm not going to have another one. I'll just start diapering grown men when I feel the need. I'm sure someone would pay good money for that.

That's fantastic. I love those moments that shake you out of routine. I often have the realization that I am not one whit more sane than the lunatic spouting nonsense and the things I'm doing don't make any sense, either. Two naked insanities, staring each other down on a sunny day. Does it get any better?
