There is a distinction to be made here between "public media" and "public service media."

I believe the latter is engaged in using media to address social and community concerns. The former is more engeged in the creation of media objects by John Q. Public.

While I'm excited and energized by the products of our new realities efforts, in reading the report I couldn't help adding to the narrative "and a miracle happens here" in more than several places.

I know that the fact that we are even talking about this is an encouraging development, but I'm more than anxious to work on some difinitave action plans.
