The report is well worth a read. I'm grateful that I have an idiosyncratic name :)

in State of the Union: ANM @ 100 on A New Marketing
Congratulations Matt:

Interestingly, I can remember the content of the favourite posts you list simply by recalling the title. I take this is the sign of a strong brand.

My faves are One Line Marketing Wisdom, Hitting Your Stride and THe Power of J.

All the best in your new job Matt. I'm interested to know if you feel your blog helped to make you more marketable.

It's a sound observation Matt. Emotional Intelligence teaches us to use our understanding of our unique physiology in order to be more productive. My best time for creative writing is 5:00 am. Afternoons are best for routine tasks for me.

mmm ... nice distinction. Moreover, I like your qualifier of "might."

Keeping a blogroll doesn't fit my business objectives. Instead I point readers to particular blogs when ther cover topics that are pertinent to my niche, Emotional Intelligence. I also do occasional round up articles featuring EQ related blogs

Hello Matt:

Just stopped by in passing. It's great to see that your list has got bigger and bigger. Well done :). I tip my hat also to you because your idea inspired me to put together the Essence of EQ presentation and series.

Hello Matt:

It's a nice design. I really liked the last logo. However, once you keep your content standards (as I'm sure you will) I'll certainly continue to stop by.

Matt: An interesting presentation. Whilst people always draw the left brain, right brain dichotomy, there's a lot of research that show that effective strategic thinkers apply a lot of right brain practices.

The presentation has good stuff in here, even for the little guy i.e. me. :)

Thanks for your insights Matt. Your point about your fundamental beliefs resonates with me. I suggest that, if we all made rational decisions, there wouldn't be any need for marketers.

in It’s all about perception on A New Marketing
Hello Matt:

I think, that in your new marketing paradigm there's far more scope to go with the flow of how you are perceived and adjust your offerings based upon your users' behaviour.

Your post reminders me that my aim, as an emotional labourer, is to help people to feel a certain way (as opposed to how they see me), more empowered, more hopeful, more resourceful.

Can I ask, Matt what caused you to make the connection between emotional intelligence and marketing?

Nice observation Matt. What we see/perceive determines how we use a tool like Google. Google has lots of facets. Keep up the good insights.

Woops!! I wanted everyone to get the full feed, so I'll adjust it tomorrow. I hope you'll subscribe after that. Thanks for taking the trouble to give me your feedback. Jamaica's fine. You'll find a good welcome if you ever travel here.

Hello Rehuel. Thanks for the link love and greetings from Jamaica. I agree with your sentiments about Darren Rowse. Have you had a look at www.copyblogger.com ? he provides great content and we can all learn from his strategies.

Do you a look at my Top 5 post when you get the time and let me know what you think.

A nice model Matt. I think a similiar thing applies to leadership in the 21st century. We need to leave space to enable people to process information and make up their own minds. That way they'll be more committed.

I enjoyed your post and you suggestions are good for bloggers that want their readership grow organically. I also wanted to thank you for an earlier post about blog carnivals as a promotional tool. It's worked well for me so far.
