While the talk show hosts are human and thus not perfect on either the conservative or liberal talk shows, both are biased to their view and proclaim theirs to be the correct one.

I did notice that missing in the article was the fact that the majority of the major newspapers and TV stations strongly promote their agenda to the left, but author apparently has no problem with that. It doesn't bother her that the news and images we are bombarded with daily portray the terrorist, insurgents, and oppressors as victims and the Americans risking their lives as nothing short of demons in combat fatigues.

I am not thrilled with McCain and most of those who label themselves "Republicans." They have drifted farther to the left and seem to have forgotten their roots. But the left has gone further to the left than ever before.

Like the talk show hosts, both candidates have their human shortcomings, and their philosophies are miles apart. The fact remains that the modern day left, including Obama, want to take away our rights and transform our democracy into a socialistic state. I do not want to have my second amendment right taken away. I do not want to pay for your health care. I do not want to financially support or grant citizenship to those who are in my country illegally. I do not want to overtax the companies that employ our nation, pay for its health care, and already pay their fair share of taxes. I do not want to see their profits garnished and given to the poor. This is a recipe for economic ruin, and worse, the fall of America, by taking away what made America great. It is Marxism reborn, the loss of freedom and liberty, the death of capitalism, and the beginning of a new world order.

I am not a "citizen of the world" as Obama boasts. I am an AMERICAN. I recognize the seas of blood that have been spilled to make me an American and have protected our borders. I am unwilling to eliminate our borders, to negotiate with terrorists and rogue nations that want us or anyone wiped off the face of the earth. When America and its borders are gone, then we will know the pain of living under communism and total government rule.

First Obama claimed his pastor was like his own father, then when it was politically expedient, he claimed he never knew the man (i.e. his agenda.) If he sat under a flagrant racist and belligerent America-hater for 20 years and couldn't discern Wright's philosophy, how can he negotiate with Ahmadinejad, Jintao, and Putin? These cunning communist dictators have an expansionist agenda and want nothing more than to see the overthrow of our great nation. They will prey on Obama’s naivity to the destruction of America. Will he then tell us, after the damage is done, “I didn’t know their evil agenda?”

Perhaps you should look past the leaders of the "club" and their human faults, and hear the message they are trying to send.

No, I'm not a citizen of the world. I'm an American. And will fight for America and it's values. I do not look to China as an example as Obama does. Their regime is an oppressive, communistic one. I also will not blame America as Obama and his wife do. I am not a citizen of the world like you and Obama. I'm an American.

The only reason you can write on this forum is because of that blood that was spilled for your freedoms. You obviously don't appreciate it. With reverent respect I honor those who have given their life for me.

Anybody who says, "G-- D--- America" should get out of America... with everyone who defends him. Amazing how many leftist wackos hate this country.

Well the author finally got one right here. We should power our vehicles and homes with windmills and make sure our tires are properly inflated... and burn our bridges -- take away all the profits from the oil companies so they'll go out of business once and for all. Of course the author will be the first to complain when an expensive study indicates the windmills are killing too many crows. Perhaps this godless man can appease those evil machines with acceptable sacrifices by throwing babies and the elderly into them. Perhaps he can gain support for his marxist agenda by giving convicted criminals and illegal immigrants the right to vote.

Finally, with regards to the article's title, I know Sarah Palin won't negotiate with the Hitler of Iran, but Obamanation would make him Secretary of Defense. I'm sure his buddies Wright and Ayers could also help qualify him in the areas of national security. Now there's a resume the author can be proud of. Speaking of "foolish things," the author tops the list.

Good point thomas, it's corporation-haters like Price that want to take away the profits of all successful corporations and give it to the illegals for housing, health care, and food -- then complain all our jobs are going overseas. But Price is a brainwashed lib that wants to shoot himself in the foot and then blame the gun.

The entire democratic political scene focuses on color, gender, and sexual preference and let's not confuse the campaign with facts and issues. The only reason Obama is even on the ticket is because he's black; it has nothing to do with his accomplishments because there aren't any. (e.g. "present" x 130) Now there's a woman with backbone in this race and Obama wants to know if she can do her job and take car of kids. If I were you dingmann I'd be outraged with obama. But I guess sexism isn't a problem for you when when the sexist is black.

I'd say her acceptance speech, her record and her experience show that she's twice as smart, accomplished, experienced, witty, keen, decisive, and qualified as Obama/Biden together. Now for her character... she's honest, has morals, values and integrity, and is real. Obama/Biden scores in the negative on all the above. And most important of all, she's not a communist.

What is so sad is that true conservatives aren't racist or sexist. We vote the issues regardless of color or gender. The dems "buy" the votes of minorities, illegals, criminals, gays, and women, but don't really respect them. Then they paint us as uncaring because we believe in free enterprise for ALL, regardless of color or gender. Blacks and women that have embraced this basic philosophy have been very successful in a so-called "white-man's America."

Tracy, if you could grasp the fact that conservatives see that you -- a black female -- are equal in all respects and we want you to achieve total success and fulfill your dreams. We just don't think the government should do it for you. Then they own you. And the dems "love" isn't really love at all, it called "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours." They use minorities for their political gain. More than ever dems are pushing a communistic agenda to take away your freedoms even while they promise you "freedom." The whole country is falling for it because everybody gets a slice of the pie. Illegals get citizenship, minorities get handouts, prisoners get voting rights, women get advancements just because they are women, everybody get "free" health care, gays get marriage rights that have never existed in human history, special interest groups get billions for their special interests, and even the planet gets to live.

I guarantee you if they want to take my profits I will shut it down. They want to destroy capitalism which is one of the basic drives of human existence. Oh, if you could only see it as many other people of color have... hard love it better than sweet lies Tracy.

Sarah Palin could have lambasted my career field (which is considered fairly elite) in the same situation and I would agree with her that what I do is not the right kind of experience that qualifies me for president. She was in no way mocking you or community workers. She was simply responding to critics that say her experience is inadequate. She was absolutely correct in pointing out her "limited" experience is far above that of obama/biden combined. You're either too easily offended or grasping for straws on another angle to put down America's next VP. Maybe you're just jealous.

I am a conservative and will vote for anyone of any color, gender or party who represents my values. Furthermore, you assumed I am talking down to blacks when I clearly stated from the beginning that I am not. FYI, I was talking to to someone who happens to be black but my statement about a free ride applies to all -- yes even whites such as myself. I am a conservative Christian, and my values are rooted deep in my faith and my understanding of the Bible; kind of like our founding fathers. They were not socialists; they did not advocate gay marriages or abortion, and certainly would never have allowed government to take away their guns, their profits, or their Christianity. Unfortunately, the left is attempting to do just that and you can dance on both sides of the isle if you want, but as for me, there is nothing to negotiate.
