Why not just use "all of you" or "each of you"?

e.g.

"How are you guys doing?" --> "How are all of you doing?"
"What do y'all want to drink?" --> "What would each of you like to drink?"

in Size Does Matter — Bigger Monitors Save 2.5 Hours a Day on The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss
I use a tiling window manger (Xmonad) on Linux to easily organize and switch between programs on my 12" laptop. It also reduces the need to use the mouse.

That probably doesn't help most people on other OSes, though. Similar ideas are virtual desktops, scrollable desktops, and smarter application switchers (like Exposé).

Ouch. Is MMA typically that brutal or is she not exhibiting restraint?

Comedy central routinely airs uncut 'mature' shows after hours. No nudity, though, just profanity.

Out of curiosity, what changes in your life have you made because of this book? Most self-help books cause a rush of inspiration followed by inaction. (Not that that is the fault of the books.)

Strange, I was going to recommend some Joseph Campbell, too. I thought “The Hero with a Thousand Faces” was out of print?

I doubt it. House music isn't as popular in the US...

"In my client Gtalk doesn’t allow file transfers."

Yup. And there is no standard for encryption, video conferencing, or group chat in XMPP, either. I wish all the networks would switch to a standardized and open protocol, but the XMPP guys seem quite slow at deciding on implementation details. IM is so damn fragmented. Which is why I am sticking to passenger pigeons for the time being.

I wonder if its caused by a US company (or other first-world company) looking for somewhere cheap to have a factory. Sadly, I am never surprised to see the lengths some companies will go to in order to make some extra cash.

That video popped up a couple of years ago, too. It seems like they are jumping to conclusions but it is interesting seeing how he was an eloquent speaker when he was a Texas governor. It could be caused by something as simple as a difference in preparation and stress.

Since you failed to provide any sources (ahem :P), here are the quotes on Wikipedia with some background and some context:

Everyone currently running for president has publicly said some stupid things so I wouldn't base your decision on a few quotes.
