Mahalo is my least favorite website EVER.

Trevor Summerfield i don't really have a problem with mahalo. i mean sure, its not where its supposed to be yet... but it looks promising. i would give it time, and next time try and back up your opinions for the benefit of the community.

Sid Yadav Wow -- as bad as it may be (which I don't think it is), I can think of a million worst sites. You have problems, dude... ;-)

It may not be new, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a review!

This is just about the greatest thing ever. This could be used for simple things like lunch lists as well instead of calling everyone to see what they want.

in Google Properties Analyzed by Traffic Share on Rev2.org
I would just like to say, I have found a few of the less often used Google spaces really useful lately. The first is Google Book search. For my research, this saves me tons of time. Although most of the books aren't shown in their entirety, Google does show me the pages that are relevant to my search. I can grab the relevant info, the page number for the citation, and move on. I think Google should emphasize the power of Google Books and maybe give it a makeover.

Also, not like Google Calendar is anything new, but I have been using it with RemembertheMilk.com (they work together) and I am 100% more organized now!

Are they going to sell my email address in the future? I don't trust them with my precious email! Zamzar + MintEmail FTW?

in OpenID: The Problem of the Solution on Rev2.org
I used to be a big fan of the OpenID idea, but I have started to become less enthusiastic. First, I was unhappy with the old OpenID providers, so I hope there will be some new players soon. Second, I have found that for many of the newer services I prefer just using an ID from bugmenot.com. I wish fewer services required registration, but for those where registration is an absolute necessity, it seems like OpenID could save us all some time.

At first I was really excited about Mint. Then I tried it. I was really disappointed, there just wasn't enough information there for me. The purchase information was not categorized correctly, so I had $800 charges for entertainment (rent) that I couldn't change!

God I love Mozy. I also love Box.net.

These are two great services.

One thing that makes me a bit upset is how hard the Mozy Free version is to find on the page now.

Camille,

This information is already publicly available. State legislatures in almost every state have voted to require registration and monitoring of these people. All this website does is make it a bit easier for people to see, using a map, where these people live. I can agree with you that the little cartoon is a bit childish, but these people have given up their right to privacy.

Anujk, I agree. I think I preferred the old UI too, but I hope this will be something that grows on me. As of now, I limit my Digg use to about 15 minutes a day with Leechblock!

I live in the United States, this is available to Americans. Are you sure they didn't just add you to the beta waiting list?
