This is the just the kind of antidote the Spurs needed after the defeat against the Blazers. Much suprisingly without the service of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. The whole team pull things together to grind out this result.

Happy to see George Hill doing a great job in taking over from Parker. Finally we get to another good reason why RJ is here. Special thanks to both Dice and the rookie Blair for the help they provided in defense.

With this performance, there must a whole lot of confidence going on in the locker room. Let's hope another repeat against the Mavs on Wednesday.

Well I must admit that I never thought that this kind of performance from him ever again. I guess my main reason must be based on the fact his body might not be able to take it (when you wear & tear in consideration) after these years of aggresive and hustling game that we're all very much used to see it from him.

Then again, you can't change a person habit that easily. Manu does what he does best and not even another pain from his body will stop him from doing so. And that's why we love him so much, don't we.

Excellent post about all the games that took place on Halloween Night. Of course the biggest highlight of them all has to be the new superhero in town, BatMANu!!!

I'm sure whatever happened it wasn't his attention to kill the poor thing. All he (so did everybody else on the court) just wanted to resume play as soon as possible. As a big fan of his, I just hope this incident does not get things overboard or everyone starts to jump on him for his action.

I think it was good performance in terms of the way they control the game and kept their cool. Of course much to my dissapointment and the thousands that turn up at the stadium, we should have allowed Messi & Roman some time playing.

Amazing enough, Argentina has a found a new fan in the form of basketball superstar Kobe Bryant! Not many teams in the world can claim that.

Anyway, I've just uploaded the goals from that match on my blog. Would appreciate very much of you could drop and give us your thought about the game?

Forza Lazio!!! That was a stunning performance from the blue half of Rome. I must admit this was totally unexexpceted but you can never say what might happen in the Rome derby.

That goal from Zarate for me is choice (so far) the goal of the season. So what do you think of Lazio chance now of reaching the Champions League?

Yeah, Walter Herrmann really brought the Palace down with his breathtaking hustles and athleticism display. Being an Argentina basketball fan, Iâ€™m more than happy to see being given some quality minutes.

Thank you very much to the new coach for having faith in my man. Iâ€™ve always said before that Walter has what it takes to cut in the NBA. He can give the Pistons some options coming from the bench. You use him wisely, and then you see what I mean.

It is often that Manu Ginobili pulls most of the headline but now Iâ€™m thinking with Scola banging on the West and Walter in the East; perhaps there is a wind of change.

Congratulations my Devil friend. You guys deserve all the success your team had for this year.

What can I say, waking up in 2.30am to watch perhaps one of the biggest CL Final of all time. It was worth it.

I’m happy to see TEVEZ lifting that trohpy and it was proud moment for my self as Argentine supporters.

Before I say anything about the Atomic Flea, my thanks to coach Pep Guordiola for allowing him to play in our next friendly matches against France. He is still growing in terms of his years as a professional players but to me it's seems like he has been around for a long time.

I want to see 2009 to be the real major breakthrough year for Messi. I hope he leads Barca to all major front (La Liga, Champions League, Copa del Rey) and do well with the Albiceleste. Then only people will know that Messi is more than just a class and C.Ronaldo is nothing but average.

I look at Lionel Messi being the best player in the world in various other aspects. He never stabbed his club back unlike what Ronaldo has been doing all summer long. Unlike Ronaldo, he never speaks highly of himself and always gives his gratitude towards his teammate.

While Ronaldo may have success at club level he was nowhere for the national team. Messi has always been a major figure for both club and country. His Olympic gold is also another testament of his greatness on the pitch.

Jo, winning the World Cup is more important than anything else because you are playing for your country. There is some element of pride and patriotism involved. It will be tough for Battaglia to get the call from Diego but you never know what the Greatest has in mind for the team.

Thank God Guillermo Canas survived his match against Dieter KIndlmann. It was poor day for the Argentinean players. A total contrast compare how did they fared in Day 1.

I guess the meeting with Diego might have been a major factor for Gonzalo's five star with four goals performance. Just looks at him going around the Malaga's defense.

It’s me John from Mundo Albiceleste. I’m not a Real Madrid fan but as an Albiceleste fan, I follow the club closely all the time because players like Gonzalo Higuain, Fernando Gago, Javier Saviola and Gabriel Heinze.

I do these are tough times for the clubs especially losing to Juventus back to back but I still feel Real are good enough to make it to the next stage. Perhaps as a supporter of the All-White Madrista, you may want to give some input on the team ahead of the Champions League clash later tonight.

By the way, rumours has it that you are interested in signing Hernan Crespo as the replacement of long term injured striker, Van Nistelrooy? You may also want to share your views with us on this.

I still believe that come play-off time it will be a different story. So far what I can say about the Jazz is that their current position is mainly due to their superiority home record.

In the post season all that counts for nothing. Just ask the Mavs what happened last season....

Luis Scola is playing like true superstar and I'm very happy about that. What about you......

Yes, Scola is a stud.

Home court in the post-season is huge.

The Rockets needed them badly. All of them. T-Mac, Ron and Scola. It is never easy going to place like Auburn Hills, getting a win there.

I think Scola’s contribution was more crucial as in his case, he was stepping in for Yao. He did that last season when Yao’s was out. The Rockets went on a 20 games unbeaten run.

Will there be able to emulate such feat again? Tomorrow against the Knicks much of that will be answered.

Not sure whether you will agree with me on this.

I’m beginning to believe that there is more than just T-Mac in this Rockets team. I’m also beginning to convince that this team has all the right ingredients to move forward without him.They have already showed plenty of that in their last few games.

They should build on this momentum.I love the low post combination of Yao and Luis. They can really compliment each other.

Its proven when the likes Bosh and Andrea were covering him, Scola was there to pick up the pieces. The same goes vice versa.As for the West, it’s hard to anyone knocking the likes of Lakers and Spurs but if there is a darkhorse here my money is on the Rockets.

I’ve just uploaded my re-cap of the game against the Raptors on my blog. Your thought and opinion is always welcome.

Ok I'm not sure what do you think but I've kind of feel that based on current form the Rockets might stand a better chance to topple the Lakers in the West, compare to the Spurs.

They are playing better basketball at the moment and looks good to secure home court advantage in the first round. Plus, there is that small oppurtinity that it could the Blazers again.

I'm just not too sure about the Spurs at the moment. The latest setback is Timmy's injury against the Cavs. Manu is still pretty much behind his best for now. They can't rely on Parker too much. The support has been very inconsistent.

This is just my view on how I see things might occur in the post season. What's yours?

Well the Blazers played like as if thet have nothing to loose. That was their main factor in helping them winning Game 2. Much of the attention was stolen by the Rockets after that blow out win from Game 1.

Yao was in foul trouble. Much of the burden was rest upon Artest and Scola. Clearly tonight he was not at his best. Aldridge out played him this time.

But I still feel that the Rocktes still has what it takes to win this series. Remember the Blazers must steal one game from Houston and that is not as easy one may think. I'm hoping for them to recover for the next two games and utilize their home court status.

Oh yes, your though on tonight game, please.

I knew the Rockets will bounced back in Game 3. All they need to do is protect their home court and they will be okay. The win from Game 1 was so crucial so they should screw things up at home.

I have great respect for the Blazers but they are still young but now lets leave destiny in the hands of the Rockets to full fill that long awaited dream.

Hats off to Scola was his big performance tonight. Every shot which he nailed was huge and again I'm so happt he got the better of Aldridge. Please check out my match review, and what do you think about the prosoect on Game 4?

The Rockets are just ONE game away from ending that playoffs jinx that was bugging them all these years. And Luis Scola is also just ONE game away from winning his first playoff series. Simply unbelieveble!!!!

I feel all this is down to the Rockets team harmony and cohesiveness which they've shown since Tracy McGrady was out injured. They prove that this team is more than just a franchise player. You gotta give them credit for that.

But whether or not are they good enough to post some tough challenge against the Lakers is another matter. But I kind of feel they do what it takes to pull a surprise or two. We'll just have to wait and see.
