I don't drink. Not that I can't or that I have had issues with drinking, I just choose not to. Boy, do I know what you mean by "that guy". I feel like a leper sometimes when others are guzzling drink after drink and I sit with my diet coke. Everyone thinks you are "odd", but I just remind myself that I unlike them will actually remember this night and I will wake up with a clear and non-throbbing head.

Hang in there dude. You are an amazing person. Look at everything you have accomplished in 905 days!

Aaron, I don't know the last time you were in Vegas but there is no such thing as a reasonably quick cab ride. If you are planning to take a cab to Cesars, give yourself at least a half hour. Especially on a Friday night. Wish I could be there.

The part that irks me about this and it irked me at BlogHer as well, is the idea that you must be a niche blogger. I blog about ME. My life, my thoughts, my goings on. Sometimes it's political, sometimes it's sports, sometimes it's just cute as hell pictures of my gbaby. So the ads have nothing to do with it.

Karoli Precisely. And I'm not going to put the focus of this blog -- especially this blog, which was created to be unfocused -- as anything other than what it is. Does that mean my voice is diluted, or I'm resigned to the back page of Life and Style? I think not.

in David Gergen Speaks Truth - Denounce Racist Vote on Bang the Drum
Why in this country are people being criticized and classified for whom they vote? It was my understanding that a person's vote is private and that their reason for their vote is "None of your damn business".

The bashing is shaming, and a scare tactic to keep people who vote differently than you to stay away. It is a sad day in our world, when the supposed leading country of Democracy, does not actually practice freedom.

Instead of bashing people for who and why they vote, we should be encouraging more people TO VOTE.
