in Three Well-Designed Products I Recently Purchased That Make Me Happy on BUZZYEAH
I think you made a good call. The jawbone is one of the best. I was having a conversation today with a mac genius on this topic. When I asked him he said, "weren't people trying to have sex with the jawbone last year"? Indeed they were. He also had the apple Bluetooth device and said it functioned well. I don't think I'd ever get either unless something like the CA law came out in my state. Although I think a good case can be made for saftey.

We have some Jawbone 2 haters at work. They say that Jawbone one was much better. Nice to see you like it. The same haters also say the bluetooth-headset apple makes is sub par. We sell a plantronics device at our store as well. Did you look at any other brands?

I just use the stereo set that came with the phone. Luckily in PA and DE there is no law yet.

Andrew Meyer I never used Jawbone 1, but Jawbone 2 works beautifully. What do your Apple
Store comrades say was better about the Jawbone 1?? Looked at other headsets
but nothing stood out. Since so many people I know had been raving about the
Jawbone, I was pretty much going to get it unless something else beat it
hands down.

in Netflix Makes Me Happy. Netflix Makes Me Sad. Either Way I Still Have a Subscription. on BUZZYEAH
I just jumped on the netflix bandwagon. I know a little late. I have watched my first movie and put it in the mail. Still waiting on to how long that will take. If it does take as long as your article suggestions I don't see it as being that big of a deal. Four days would be as long as I'd like, at that rate your still at around 5-7 films per month. I am on the on movie at a time subscription now but may switch to the one you have. If I did have one every day I'd don't think I could watch it anyway. I do agree with the online streaming. I also am a mac+netflix users which does = no online streaming. Unless I want to install windows which I don't. Virus exposure wont be worth it in the long haul. The netflix library is robust which I really enjoy. Do they not have a movie that has been on dvd?

Andrew Meyer Sometimes I search for some pretty obscure movies on Netflix and I've never received a "Sorry, we don't have that movie".

Well, I take that back. Netflix doesn't have the documentary "American Outrage" directed by George Gage. Mike, you need to see that doc if you can get your hands on it.

in I Still Read Glossy Print Magazines. But Only For Free in My Local Barnes and Noble. on BUZZYEAH
During my heyday I was subscribing to the following magazines.

One, Be-Mag, Communication Arts, Print, How, National Geographic, and Lenswork.

I am letting go or already have National Geographic, CA, Print and How. I'm keeping One and Be-mag because they are the only two magazines of an industry I really like to keep up on (rollerblading). Lenswork has wonderful reproductions, no advertisements, and recently pulled all their magazines off the shelves because of the enormous waste involved in that process.

Right next to where I work (Apple store in a mall) I have a boarders albeit the handy "express" version which I visit on my break along with the occasional jaunt to FYE to listen to music. As your post notes its just to easy to find rich content online to justify buying magazines at 4.99 a pop that you will just throw in the trash or in your bookshelf.

I wouldn't mind subscribing to a few other magazines. I think a lot of them are offering super cheap one year deals. Others are just way to expensive for my current budget. RIP print.

Andrew Meyer Yeah my last subscription (The Believer) just ended.

The Barnes and Noble I use to fondle magazines for free doesn't have enough chairs near the mag section so I have to stand up in that awkward reading-while-standing-up position and my neck gets really sore. I take the pain because I still got to get me some fresh print in my fingers.

As for all print dying... Print books > Kindle.
