Good post. I'm subscribed to over 250 feeds and I've never taken the time to distinguish RSS vs. Atom. I just always pick Atom if it's available. Thanks for the brief tour.
BTW, what do you call sodas?

This couldn't have come at a more opportune time:
http://blogs.msdn.com/aaron_margosis/archive/20...
It's funny, reading the method he goes through to stop explorer and then restart it.
It's coincidental that a bash.org quote was posted today that pretty accurately describes Aaron's instructions:
#783472 +(150)- [X]
It's really simple to watch a move, just open the console, and type "
ffmpeg -i "$(find ~/.mozilla -regex '.*Cache.*' -a -not -regex \
'.*_CACHE_.*' -printf '%T+ %p\n' | \
sort -n | awk '{ print $2 }' | xargs file | \
grep -i "Video" | tail -1 | awk -F : '{ print $1 }')" \
-vcodec msmpeg4v2 -b 200 -ab 64 -ar 22050 -s 320x240 \
/tmp/video.avi

OK, where have I been? It looks like Lamb of God has quite a few albums. If you don't mind, what are some of your favorite songs/albums?

I wouldn't consider either of these guys the best, but two bands that haven't been mentioned yet are Soulfly and Mudvayne?
Soulfly was started by Max Cavalera, the lead singer from Sepultura.
I don't know who Mudvayne is, but I like their music. :)
Of course, I would be surprised if you hadn't heard of these two.
I've never heard of Lamb of God so now I've got to pull up iTunes to see if I can find some of their music. I also hadn't heard of half the band Bigode mentioned. Good, new music is always a great way to start the day!

That's awesome. I wasn't reading your blog back in '05 when you first posted this so I'm glad you've revisited the topic. This is definitely getting set up on my browser asap.
You can also use Alt-D to get to the URL bar which seems flows a little better than CTRL-L, at least to me. Well, I don't know; maybe your way is easier.
Of course, CTRL-T gives you a new tab AND puts you at the URL bar, which I'll probably use more anyway.

Your post reminds me of this blog entry here:
http://blogs.ittoolbox.com/security/investigato...
It's just as important, if not more, to allow your visitors to login securely. Even if your password was 27 characters and completely random, a sniffer will log it just as easily as a short, easy password.
@Jared
Bloglines stores their passwords in clear text, also. I've had to have them send it to me a couple of times and instead of sending me some random garbage, they send my real password to me. Good security, indeed.
That's why it's important to use different passwords. If someone compromises one, they just have access to that one resource.
