We had about 19.5 inches of snow in a 24 hour period in Spokane, WA...which set a record. Nothing but more cold weather and snow in the forecast. It's been a lot of fun. I think I'll take my 3 month old out sledding. :)

How about being involved in building wind mills? Don't you really want to be 300 feet off the ground on a tiny platform? No thanks....I'm sure you'll find only a few to do that too.
Agree with your thoughts and I don't know what the government keeps thinking that giving the corporations money when the consumer is the one who is ultimately strapped. Know 3 people since Friday who have been laid off, first time ever, this is going to get quite a bit worse!
Also, just sent you an email with a couple of questions I have...thanks!

McCain got some flack for saying Cox should be fired. People said that he(McCain) doesn't understand what is going on. Well, from what I have read, Cox should be fired. Several days ago it came out the SEC missed some warning signs in Bear Stearns.
Now this, under Cox:

Life is far more important than any of this mess, I hope and pray that your sister is doing well and will have a quick recovery. Have a good weekend.

Held POT short overnight and already covered it for 3+ points. Maybe a little early but I like those profits before the bell even opens.

POT can just roll over and die....PLEASE!!!!!! There are just some big buyers out there supporting it at 178 and I thought for sure it was heading for a cliff this afternoon when it broke 177....apparently not. Hopefully tomorrow.

I agree that this will not last. Too much pressure on earnings going forward. USB is one financial corporation that has done a good job of dodging the major problems plaguing nearly rest of the industry.

This is a pretty impressive rally from the financials! USB has just been flying! Too bad I'm at work today and limited in trading ability. :(

Yea, and I don't think the CNN article reporting the U.S. is 'preparing the battlefield' in Iran is going to help anything either.

I cant believe how many people fall for this crap. So supposibly Firstline is now partnering up with Pinnacle another summer sales company; what a lie. Firstline is Bankrupt they screwed me and hundreds of others on their backend. Pinnacle in my eyes is just as full of crap as Firstline.

Here in the U.S. our Memorial Day is celebrated the last Monday in May. For many people this marks the beginning of the summer season and is spent barbequeing and getting together with friends. Thanks for this thought-provoking post. This should remind people of the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Using 'faggots' and 'cocksuckers' doesn't really make you a better rapper. Maybe she should try using different words instead of shit, whore, hot, chick, etc etc etc.

I wish I had an iPod to use these things on... I found out about them through the Flying Spaghetti Monster site, and after realizing how awesome their designs were I Googled to find a review, this was the first result. I wish they made Nintendo DS Lite skins... and PSP... and PDA... and phone faceplates... and...

Did a search on SQL Server 2005 CLR assembly hosting and indeed, it's another nice feature. For the right purposes, it can used as a replacement for TSQL. But it seems like you need to jump through more hoops to set up a stored procedure/trigger that uses C# language instead of TSQL.
Slightly off-topic, I've never understood why Microsoft would want to have SQL Server 2005 to be able to provide web services directly off the database server. I would think that you would run into scability problems quickly if your database server was dishing out web service responses in addition to normal database processing.
It would make more sense to have the option of a cluster of IIS/ASP.NET servers to distribute the workload of high volume of web services requsts/reponses while having the database solely focus on data operations. Database queries can be very RAM intensive and it would make sense to make every chunk of RAM available for the database server instead of siphoning some off for web services.

I agree... the most important feature for me is the database cache invalidation when one of the underlying tables is changed. I'm not aware about CLR host and how that would help me.
