Military families must bond together to bring real change home by bringing our troops home now. Today, Moms and Dads are being deployed as part of the Army’s IRR (Army's Individual Ready Reserve), but yet no one is questioning “why.”

Lisa Pagan was honorably discharged from the Army four years ago but was called back up because she is on individual ready reserve status. Pagan has fought the activation, saying that her husband travels for work and, with no relatives to help them, there will be no one to watch their two kids if she is deployed to Iraq. So far her arguments have fallen on deaf ears, so she decided to take her kids with her to Ft. Benning to prove her point and make the Army see things her way.

If the current Administration wants to continue the prior deployment strategies and open more theaters then we should initiate the Draft to share the burden on the many rather then the few.

Of course the media will be actively looking to show these photos. Seeing returning dead American soldiers will ruin President Obama’s approval rating.
