It is a major factor, but the lack of globalisation does not explain why a US click for "mortgage" is sold for $15 on Google and only $5 on Yahoo!

I think there are 3 other big factors
- Google's huge marketshare
- Google's better relevancy (particularly on content)
- Yahoo!'s nasty partner network which you can not opt out of! that dilutes their click quality (particularly in high value niches)

Google did not want Europe for one big reason: limited upside potential with a high likelihood of drawing regulator scrutiny.

Thanks for the mention Jim. I totally agree that my brand has a lot of exposure.

I don't think I want to make another ebook at this point. The one I have is already a lot of work.

I know it would be more profitable to create another product and resell it to the same group, but my goal (at least for now) is to do a lot more doing than teaching, just keep on doing SEO Book while I develop many other passive revenue streams away from that site.

Not all SEO's suck. I was one of the members of the community who fully exploited the opportunity to gain tons of customers from incompetent firms last November.

October was before the Florida dance as it happened on Nov 15-16th, so it appears your dates are a bit mixed up.

Google is still primarily anchor text driven and they were forced to undue most of the stuff they did last November because it hurt their relevancy by blocking out good sites. My site was innitially blocked out, but I am back in the top #1 sites for my primary keyword.

When people complain about Yahoo! sucking they are talking about pages like this

http://www.keyssportfishing.com/fishing1/Fishing_Key_Largo.html

gaining top rankings because they have "good on page content."
