I think the view is narrowed by the fact that it activex didnt catch on the the less tech savvy places...ie North America.. so the view is a little skewed as for places like S.Korea activeX is everywhere.. internet banking.. chatting, buying pizza, buying clothes... almost every site you go to has flash and activex in this country.. so while N. America might not see the point to activeX other places may have entire markets that depend on it's usage.. MS probably knows this and sees the bigger picture to the story. Bill Gates as much as I hate him at times .. is a genius at marketing and strategies...

I am fine by the way... Well I think its hard to get a good perspective on things when you watch US media... its constantly slapping you with how bad everything is.. Since I have been here in Korea.. for one I dont have time to pay attention to the US news much and its surprising safe here. Don't really hear of crime half as often as you do in the states and the crimes you do hear about are things like a company exploited another company over something... I heard of two murder cases since I have been in Korea .. its been almost a year now .. If I was in Georgia I would have heard of 10 shootings in just a week.. Not that Korea is the safest place on earth.. the overly conservative society makes some of the men here sexual freaks so.. there is often cases of old men flashing young school girls or taxi drivers raping drunk female passengers. All in all .. I feel safer here 95% of the time as opposed to what I felt in a small town in Georgia.

Holy shit!! No more letter sending for me unless they upgrade their encryption scheme and until they can compress more letters in those evelope things they were talking about. More security people more compression ... faster transmitions .. thats all we want.. Do IT!

I like Ubuntu, Gentoo, and Fedora pretty much to the same degree .. and yet I like some of the mini distros too but Darwin rocks them all .. screw all you n00bs. just kidding i think what Dan said is right its all about personal preference and its a great thing in the linux world we have that. In the windows world you get one and only one .. be happy you have a choice n00bs.
