in Nashua festival cooks up gooey culinary delights on Nashua Telegraph
One of my favorite memories of Nashua (or, in my case, 17 Executive Drive, Hudson) is munching on baklava Nick brought from that festival to the office for the weekend newsies. Always worth a side trip!

in Gun-sale charges dismissed against local merchant on Nashua Telegraph
You know, the case was dismissed - without prejudice, which means it will be back - because the prosecutors forgot to take the case to Superior Court, so it's not like the guy got a free pass.
And sure, police enforce laws on the books, but no rational person would think they could possibly enforce all of them all of the time.
I think the bigger question is: Should a guy do 3.5 to 7 for selling personal property to someone else?

in Schools see fast turnover of chiefs on Nashua Telegraph
It seems to me that if a superintendent can bail out anytime during a contract, but if the school board wants to get rid of a superintendent a buyout is necessary that maybe, just maybe, multiyear contracts, at least as portrayed here, aren't a good deal for the taxpayer.

in Merrimack hit hard by ice storm on Nashua Telegraph
Wow, you all deal with bad weather in the *weirdest* way. I usually put on rubber boots - Trudy was wearing not one, but two! delicious Hungarian stews. What happens when it snows? Break out the gazpacho!

in Nashua Telegraph Blogs on The Editor's BlogWell, Kevin, the RAN really does work to keep the editorial staff in closer touch with its readers. RAN participants don't always wait to be asked questions; they'll oftentimes chime in, especially when a decision is made by the paper that they don't agree with.
If you think the T is too liberal, you should write a letter to the editor and join the network. If you want to end war and stuff, you've got to sing loud.

in Nashuatelegraph.com: With clear video imaging, police hone in on corner store scammer on Nashua Telegraph
Could you post the picture?
This might be just as simple as not knowing the law - which I suspect since he had a sign advertising the sale. As hankjones said correctly, ignorance of the law is not a defense. A little common sense might have caused this guy to at least check the legality.
