I honestly dated someone in the office who wasn't a Manwhore and it is something I would not care to get into again. It is hard to see and work with that person on a daily basis, without wanting to drive that said 3 inch heel (pen, pencil, paperclips made into a dart), into the middle of their eyes, if they ended up becoming a tool after the whole ordeal. Not an easy situation at all - so I obviously say NAY.

I love both artists. I wish a label would FINALLY do Toni right. And I miss Luther immensely. :(

I felt like breaking out with "Crush On You" and as for DuranDuran, I always thought I as in love with Mr. Taylor, only to realize that I was always madly in LOVE with Nick Rodes and those rosey pouting lips.

Awww, why is everyone so hard on SJP?? I love that chick, there's just something quirky and fun about her. She's not your conventional beauty, but she's not the Elephant Man! Geezum!...lol

As for Alicia - she just keeps on getting more and more orange every time I see her!! The italian in her should make her more olive tinged, NOT orange. WTF?

GUUUUURL, when I pressed play on the first track, I broke out in a cold sweat. That is my favorite track on this album.


At first, I let the track "Radio" be my guide and totally rebuked even listening to the album because of my frustration. Then the preview copy was sent to me and I took a listen - can we say speechless? It has been on heavy rotation since I have pressed play. It is most definitely one of the gems from 2008 that everyone needs to pay attention to, if they haven't already. Great write up!

I am so very happy that you mentioned the fact that a black president has been elected, does not eradicate the disease. There is SO much (and and there is no emphasis large enough that can carry the point across), work to be done on this topic and every other facet under the sun. This is only the beginning. As much as everyone would like to "say" that, it is another thing to actually UNDERSTAND it. I hope that everyone progresses forward according to Dr. King's dream and the beat of Obama's vision for the U.S.
