in Installing X11 on OS X 10.4 Tiger on overstimulateThanks! I spent hours this afternoon trying to figure this out to use gnucash. installed all the XCode tools, searched the tiger install disk several times with no joy and then found this how-to.

in Leo’s Gear on LOL: Life of Leo
I've been using the Etymotic headphones for about two years now and really like them. The rubber inserts don't work for me; it's foamies all the way! They're great for plane trips. The one thing I don't like about them is the twisted wires leading up to the headphone parts - it rubs on zips and the cable is rather microphonic.
They have good customer service too - one of the plastic lugs that the inserts go over broke off in my bag and I sent them back and got them replaced. This was after a year of use. I was rather pleased about that I can tell you!

Man, how many responses? The TWiT Army speaks its mind!
I've been listening to the TWiTcasts for a long time now and, as others have said, it has become part of my routine. That said, a break would give me time to listen to more of my audiobooks! You often say during the audible ads that netcast listeners are the natural audience for audiobooks. The paradox is that you're dead right, apart from the fact that we have no TIME to listen to audiobooks as we have so many netcasts to get through each week!
I'm not keen on the idea of reruns. Anyone in need of reruns can listen to, well, reruns. They're all available for download after all!
