Host your images on photobucket or flickr or imageshack and use img tag's src attribute point to them in your blog post...So you don't have to really attach tohse images in your email post..

Well let us await a formal communication from google or the report of a research done to find out the reasonsâ€¦To me blogs, however popular they are, do not deserve the PR as they are mostly duplicate stuffâ€¦probably google is taking into account the uniqueness of the content as well(may be pagerank now works exactly against Techmeme's algorithm??)...â€¦hopefully the originator of the content gets the credit as per the new systemâ€¦i also hope that news that are made popular by social networking sites like digg and others lose credibility as they are 90% unfairly promotedâ€¦...

Oh that was superb indeed and i liked the shots.i always felt that he had great talent.

But then i am also saddened by what is happening to Indian cricket.Because i think there is some real political and money game behind Dhoni's appointment as captain.Honestly this is my version.

Reliance(Anil Ambhani's group) wanted its brand ambassador to be the Indian captain.It is well known that they have several politicians in their kitty(cutting across party lines).Sharad Pawar and this group combined to offer the big names in the team,huge sums of money and all they wanted in return was a refusal to accept captaincy.These biggies accepted the money based on certain conditions.They knew very well that they have few years left in them.so they believed in "make hay while the sun shines".It is all political and money game in indian cricket.

But what if the article is not to the interest of the reader but the non targeted ads are more catchy...Also i am not sure as to how many readers are looking for ads that are related to the content they read...though this has been the traditional belief among bloggers...but i believe that if the ad is really catchy and of interest to them,they will click it,whether or not it is related to the content......yes section targetting does work well in showing relevant ads.....

Backup wizard on my cpanel helps me to do this, though there is no option to choose only the plugins and themes...or either of them...but i am going to backup them only once and whenever i use a new plugin or theme......but i will be backing up my mysql database quite often..but definitely this is a nice option...

Mayank is one of the first few Indian tech bloggers, i got to know when i started blogging...He had a style of his own and I liked his blog for the reviews he did on various products/software...He was a true blogger in the sense he did not stop with just mentioning about the features of any new product/software but gave his personal opinion on it.Those opinions were always good and reliable.

yep i don't see writing on reviewsaurus anymore but his designing skills are another facet that impressed me.His current blog design on http://blogdesignstudio.com/ is one of the best i have seen in recent times and being a blog on blogdesign it looks like a perfect showpiece to me.I wish i had alvely theme like that from mayank...i know mayank is more focussed on his personal business of blog designing and he is less into blogging these days...wish him all success with his blog design company..I would suggest Mayank to extend his business to designing websites for SMEs on wordpress..good luck Mayank..

A few technical questions:
1) wordpress 2.7 was a big change from earlier version, in that it brought into the core, several functionalities which were hitherto proided only by plugins.Especially in comment section. do you plan to build into the core, more such functionalites or would you leave wordpress platform light and allow the plugin developers to build such features for users?

This is utter nonsense...How the heck are you saying that Visualstudio is the best IDE in the world? Just because you happen to use .NET and you can only use VS for it, doesn't automatically mean that it is the best.If you ask the Java guys they will swear on tools like eclispe, Netbeans etc..So do you want me to believe this case study by Microsoft? funny...yeah the case study is interesting as it is offcourse rare and you can find it only on microsoft website...Microsoft and scalability are far apart...Even on a desktop OS like Windows they would want you to change it every 2-3 years and would not support the earlier versions unless their latest release sucks real bad like vista...

I can see the text breaking the split line in the Recent comments widget.

The font size is Ok for the body as some prefer it slightly bigger..Probably you can have a smaller one for the sidebars.This will help you add more widgets in future.

i also notice font (size and type) being different for the Recent comments widget than it being the same as others.Make the font type uniform for all widgets in the sidebars.

Regarding the colors I will suggest some variations of blue.Any color in tune with the blog's category would be great.

I, for some reason, do not prefer dark coloured schemes for a technology blog.

For traffic, I do like the concept behind blogrush and i have installed one on my site.You can try that as I see it getting popular in blogosphere.Would be greatful, if you could join it thro the link on my blog.

I will tell you what, this is better than the link loves.You may be aware that link loves are not good for Google page ranks.But with Blogrush, you avoid that as it is a script based widget.

See, when people see google monetizing everything, then they loose the "awe" that currently people have on google...

There should be some sort of business optimization while making revenues.when you become as big as google, it is very vital to show an humane face and not be just a money earning machine...this face would attract more users to google and the loss in revenue,if any, through such lost opportunities,as you mentioned,would be better compensated...
