I have a few questions for Matt.

1) What is the long term vision of Wordpress? What do you expect the platform to be, in say 3 years from now?
2) Are there any plans of promoting Wordpress adoption in India? if yes, what are they?
3) Is this your first visit to India? If yes, do you see anything strikingly different from what you had know about india so far?
4) Do you plans to visit other cities in India? I am from chennai, where blogging is quite popular and would you plan trips to chennai and other cities in future?

A few technical questions:
1) wordpress 2.7 was a big change from earlier version, in that it brought into the core, several functionalities which were hitherto proided only by plugins.Especially in comment section. do you plan to build into the core, more such functionalites or would you leave wordpress platform light and allow the plugin developers to build such features for users?

Yes, we always had the charm and it is a pity that you folks don't have it...If you know where his money had come from, then Mccain or any republican would have known it..but then they didn't question it, because the they have emptied the world coffers, just recently...

and as for clinton it is pathetic to to know from you folks that the republican intelligence were still sending reports to clinton and not to bush...even otherwise where was bush playing around then?

The 2.7 turbo (gears) is really good...guess i will prefer the wordpress admin UI more now...

Somewhere i read that even media.php file in wp-admin/includes need to be replaced....

I find WordPress Comments Moderator to be useful for moderating comments from desktop.But i don't find the need for How to Geek's comment notifier, as direct all comment modification mails to my Gmail account which does the notification alert automatically...

hmm..bookmarklet for chrome seem to be the topic on various blogs until chrome comes with a framework for add ons...

hmm...good...thanks for sharing this tool...i will have to try console...what is the keyboard shortcut for navigating tabs? can we set our own?

Mayank is one of the first few Indian tech bloggers, i got to know when i started blogging...He had a style of his own and I liked his blog for the reviews he did on various products/software...He was a true blogger in the sense he did not stop with just mentioning about the features of any new product/software but gave his personal opinion on it.Those opinions were always good and reliable.

yep i don't see writing on reviewsaurus anymore but his designing skills are another facet that impressed me.His current blog design on http://blogdesignstudio.com/ is one of the best i have seen in recent times and being a blog on blogdesign it looks like a perfect showpiece to me.I wish i had alvely theme like that from mayank...i know mayank is more focussed on his personal business of blog designing and he is less into blogging these days...wish him all success with his blog design company..I would suggest Mayank to extend his business to designing websites for SMEs on wordpress..good luck Mayank..

Not visited your blog as much as Harris' but I do follow it regularly now... Good work on your blog and i see striking similarities between your blog and Harris' from design to the way they are presented...Good luck to you and you being a gadget freak...I believe that you will do well with a blog on gadgets than anything else :)

it was a great plugin keith...infact wordpress should acknowledge its usefulness by making a mention of this plugin and how it made them integrate it...

That is where broken links remover plugin helps, if you are on wordpress..

Silki, very nice interview. I too get most of my traffic from google.I fall in the same category as you, unlike most other indian tech bloggers.

However i do try to spend some time networking with the folks, just to know who is who and networking is good from perspectives other than blogging.Whether or not i interact with a few of them, I do read all their blogs regularly.

Nice post Mayank...i had done a similar post recently... and how my plugin helps in attracting both the traffic :)

yes keith, i don't think it is an easter egg...infact google chrome crashes easily due to many reasons...i have found atleast five different ways to crash it :)
