Plurk can also be buggy at times and has it's fair share of problems, but the conversations are a lot easier there. You can view all responses on a single page which is something I never understood twitter for not doing. So I hope the new kid plurk overtakes the twitter beast or at least twitter becomes a lot better. For real for real I will just stick to Facebook statuses if they changed a few things.

Re: Say Hello to 9 New D.C. Koofers and rezume definately caught my eye and will look forward to using them. Working for a local start-up wouldn't be bad also.

Re: The Lack of a Golden App

A "Golden App" is rather judgmental and based on opinion. I consider some of the apps I use golden. I've installed or used a lot of apps even if it was for a sec, yet none of them I keep unless they actually adds functionality/value on top of what facebook does as is. Like the most recent personal golden app for me is 'College Football.' I love the bracket and all that stuff facebook provide during college basketball season. I always wonder if anything like that can come to college football and so long and behold this app.

Other personal golden app; the official last.fm - nothing beats listening to a radio that plays songs you actually listened to before.

Re: Facebook Users Revolt Against CBS Sports, It’s March Madness!

Along with all those issues, why on earth will facebook not bring back the same bracket system they hosted last year? I can't imagine how much CBS paid to take over. Facebook's last year bracket system was sooo fun and standardized. You can easily see where you rank among you friends and school. It was very clean and functional. This CBS knockoff is way too cluttered and doesn't have as many users.

Re: Facebook Kills Networks

I loved the Networks but then quickly saw a lot of people (me included) being shy about utilizing it. Only spammers and people nobody care for post on the network walls. I thought it had potential. Guess not. It did seem useful during the Virginia Tech tragedy in which the VT network was used as a place for support.

Re: Facebook’s Elitist Chat Launch

It's seems unnecessary to me. Just like Flickr adding video.

Re: Breaking: Facebook Taking on FriendFeed, Launching Mini-Feed Comments

Great feature, having a simple and easy way to follow conversations is a good thing. One of the reasons I like Plurk over Twitter. If facebook were to work a bit more on the status updates like plurk, I would love them sooo much. I will also like RSS feeds on comments and an archive of your comments and status updates.

The ironic thing about their announcement of this on their blog today is that there's a comment box on the announcement and they are even asking for comments on the feature, yet we can't! I missed those good old days when facebook didn't disable comments on their blog to have millions commenting haha.

Re: Is the Facebook Marketplace Being Shut Down?

I used it to get books from students that go to my school. Other than that, not at all. But I think it's still the best way to get books sometimes because you can find out who's selling what then message him/her and set up a meeting spot on campus, saving you from paying shipping. You also know you are getting the right book for your class and you get to network with the buyer/seller a little; some like to tell you about the teacher, tips, what they went through that sort of thing.

What's with the removing features online companies are doing nowadays. Twitter shut down some important feature (I think the reply one) a little while ago. Netflix were about to get rid of Profiles. Facebook got rid of Network pages. Shhessh, some people no matter how small still found these features essential.

Re: Breaking: Facebook Releases New Design

I always love the neatness and style of facebook designers, and now they definitely revamped the look to something more modern. The app menu is so cool, looks like windows start menu. Amazing web programming all around.

I noticed a few small features missing:
- No wall post count
- Can't browse by clicking Birthdays or Networks anymore
- Can't filter activity anymore, and perhaps RSS are gone?

I'll miss all those things and having everything on the same page (with the exception of people with too many apps).

Re: New Facebook Design Launch is Slow and Steady

Yeah, like Revanth Says, anyone can test out the new version by going to new.facebook.com. I did for a couple minutes but I still don't have anything to do there. Facebook isn't doing anything new here; Last.fm, deviantArt, and others have all been running out betas before they release to everybody.

Re: 2007/01/16/facebook-pulse-killed/

Pulse was a good feature, seeing how many photos were uploaded in one day or pokes given out seem interesting to me. In fact it makes you want to upload. The top music/tv/movies was not that interesting to me because they are relatively the same between schools. I don't know, I still liked it and they could have done a lot more to it. Stats are always cool facebook.

Re: 2007/06/30/pownce-invites/

mojaam -at- yahoo.com

Thanks!
