I mean, a 1+ minute start up? XP goes up in 35 - 40 seconds on a duron 600. I suppose my mandrake install isn't that speedy tho either...How's the performance when in the OS?

The C3 processors in desktops are supposed to be for htpc projects and mp3 boxes. Ahh...maybe I expect too much, lol.

I hope these wally world pcs don't discourage people from using Linux...

Good Eval tho, appropriate ratings :-)

Re: Why your Nokia phones last forever – an illustrated guide

I have a 3315 bought some 5 yrs back still working while a Motorola and a Sony purchased after that lasted a little over one year both.

Re: http://blog.joelesler.net/2007/12/sans-proctorization-part-two.html

No, no

ISO/IEC 17024 is a good thing. It is standard for how professionals (of all kinds) are certiffied. Worth a read. The whole ISO 17000 family deals with certification.

The idea is that there are minimum requirements for how people should be certified.

But, hey. Today, I have my special Proof of Being a Good Person certificate for sale at only $5,000. Want to buy one?

Re: Episode 42 of My Browser is Better Than Your Browser

It's Ctrl+G not Alt+G.
