Great way to wrap up the year, by helping others;)

I think that just being real makes all the difference in the world. One thing that people like about my food blog is that I use everyday GENERIC ingredients...not some fancy high dollar, order from out of the country type of ingredients. The photos make a HUGE difference as well. It's great to incorporate humor, history, and true life stories when writing anything. It established a bond, a trust with your readers, no matter the niche.

So yes, quality and keeping it real is what counts.

From a marketing perspective, numbers do matter. It proves that we really are "great" and that you should listen to what we have to say. Whether you are a mom blogger encouraging people to enter your giveaway or an affiliate marketer trying to sell a course, we are all do some kind of marketing and NEED the numbers. BUT, keeping those readers/subscribers/followers is what really counts and if you can sustain x amount of stats for longer than a week, then more will come and those numbers are well deserved;)

And of course, the larger your numbers get, the more apt you are to be shot down or challenged. It comes with the territory but you face it and move on. After all, a person with say, 4000 twitter followers, must be influential or they wouldn't have the numbers.

I've never been into a Victoria Secret store until I went to Blogher in SF and found myself buying a bra.

I've gotten some horrible emails, comments, etc. It ALMOST got me down but HELL NO! I ain't gonna let people stop me from pursuing my dreams!! You can't please everyone and there's always gonna be idiots.

I just implemented the sidebar tabs widget but the wording is off to the right instead of underneath....can you look it and see if there's something I can do about that???

That sounds like 18 year old talk to me. It's very immature and disrespectful. Maybe you should grab a dictionary and learn a new set of vocabulary terms, preferrably, ones that don't make you sound like a disgusting idiot.

I have an automatic backup that does it everyday. I get my nightly email with my backup attachment. I've read too many horror stories!
