I've been missing your Mino short videos recently Vic. Also opting to cover The Activity Monitor when so much else is going on such as iPhone 3G, MobileMe, and the App Store?

It seems that you haven't taken the opportunity to cover some of the most exciting events.

typicalmacuser Hey James, well. The Mino videos are purely for fun, and I'm not commiting to any frequency. The decision to NOT to do a bunch of iPhone stuff was a conscious one. There are so many podcasts that we all listen to that are covering this subject , I did not want to be yet another one doing the same thing. I was also on vacation the weekend this all happened and i did not want to give little or bad information. It's one of the beautiful things about being the producer of the show, I get to decide good, bad or indifferent.

Thanks for the great video posts Victor. I was just recently turned on to your podcast and must say that I enjoy your short videos as well. I have about 135 applications on my MBP now, but I do need to do some house cleaning so to speak. I find most of my apps via blogs, Mac magazines, and recommendations from friends. I have discovered a lot of great apps via the Mac Gems column in MacWorld that you can also find on their website.

You mentioned a few of the 20 apps that you use daily Victor. Could you please list other apps that you use daily? Thanks again for the great podcast.

You can indeed upload photos from a small digital cam via the Eye-Fi wireless SD card which allows you to take advantage of a wi-fi connection to upload photos directly.

Thanks for the great post though Robert. I haven't heard you mention your iPhone lately as much. Hopefully, Steve will give us video soon so that you can lose a phone or two. Incidentally, there is one decent video solution for a jailbroken iPhone at iphonevideorecorder.com. Unfortunately, you cannot stream live yet bc Qik doesn't support the iPhone.

One major flaw with this app is the inability to search. I frequently find myself doing
global searches on FF for topics that I follow closely such as the iPhone and Facebook.
Thanks for all of the hard work Benjamin. Hopefully, search will be added soon.

Matt Shaulis Why not nab a Feed of those FriendFeed searches:

"iphone": http://friendfeed.com/search?q=iphone&format=atom

"facebook": http://friendfeed.com/search?q=facebook&format=...

and look at those on your mobile... just a thought, especially if these are searches you perform regularly. :)
