So I'm guessing that today if someone asked you how you felt you'd only say "half a million pesos" - and if a million pesos was nothing half a million is half of nothing which is some kind of irratioinal number thing right?
How long does this reaction happen for?

I got so caught up with the singing condoms that I didn't see this yesterday...sucks that you feel awful, sucks even more that there's really not a whole hell of a lot anyone can do about it.

ok "emergent Christian" - interesting term and I admit that I haven't looked into exactly what is meant by the term but it made me think of emergent readers - children who are just beginning the journey of knowing how to read, they don't yet posse all the skills and strategies, and even physical/emotional development necessary for real reading yet but we begin teaching then how to read and scaffold and support their learning until they are full-fledged readers. Applying the term in it's same meaning to Christianity seems inappropriate. I don't believe that one can be "not quite a Christian". I don't believe that there is a clear set of skills needed to be a Christian that you must posse before you are a full fledged Christian. Doesn't the Bible say that with Baptism you are fully one of God's chosen? Doesn't that sprinkling or water take care of it and we are all in the same boat learning what it means to live in this crazy world? Just my 2 cents worth.

So true, so true. I don't watch these shows so I never what the latest "thing" is....funny how I don't miss it at all! I just go about my life in pleasant ignorance that there is anyone out there who thinks I should write my Thank Yous differently and strangely enough I don't get stressed during thr holidays.

hmmmm....medicine seems to be going the way of way of education...is there a new bill "No Paitent Left Behind" No matter what it appears that the kid needs to learn, it's not important unless it's being tested! A child isn't tested on social skills so who cares if they throw chairs...just like your spleen!

A nasal bidet!!!! ROTFLMAO!!! That's funny! That's exactly what it's like though! I actually use the highly expensive "Simply saline" - it comes in a bottle and you squirt it up your nose....it's wonderful when the allergies get bad. My dr told me to get one of these - but it does look hard to use and I'm sure hard to keep clean...the last thing I need is a breeding place for nose germies!

Ah there's the loophole I have been looking for....I'll adopt a bunch of kids and declare my house a "private school" - then I can actually teach! :)

Of course the thought of most parents doing that is very frightening.
