in For pleasure and profit (but mainly pleasure) on Quickrelease.tv
Good post Carlton. When I worked in bike retail, I often heard the corny old joke about how to make a million bucks in the bike industry (start with 2 million). Most people working in the industry aren't doing it for the money, but because they are truly passionate about bikes and cycling. That common love of cycling makes for a pretty tight knit group compared to many other industries. Definitely something cool to be a part of.

in Please don’t steal my content on Camera Dojo
I have been having problems with scrapers stealing content lately as well. Many of them stopped after I reported the instances to Google. I guess they find it is not worth it if their bogus pagerank is compromised.

in Tour de France cavalcade always stuns on Quickrelease.tv
I enjoyed looking through your flickr set. Great shots! Too bad you won't have more Tour pictures to post. Of course, you could just blow off your responsibilities and follow the race for the next few weeks. If you do, make sure you get some good shots of the bikes.

in How Much Does Your Commute Really Cost You? Calculate It… Then Kill It? on The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss
My commute is usually the best part of my day because I do it on a bike. OK, I had to throw that out, but I do see the point. I could be spending a lot more time riding without an office that I have to be in.
