So far we liked Chuck the best of the new ones too. We're also going to give Private Practice a few more episodes to decide, as I am with Gossip Girl too. We're going to try Pushing Daisies this week. As for the returning shows, Grey's was good, The Office premiere was great, and Ugly Betty was spectacular, the best episode yet. Getting ready to watch Heroes right now:)

haha Mike, that last comment was funny to me :) I am a caffeine junkie. I drink at least 2 diet cokes a day and then throw in a glass of iced tea. Plus I get (are you ready for this?) an iced venti vanilla quad espresso pretty much every day. Yep, that's four lovely shots of potent joltness (ohh I like that word!) in my tummy to keep me going. Do I have a problem? Yes. Will the abundance of caffeine and artifical sweetners in my blood stream preserve me for decades longer than the average person? I like to think so! haha. But no worries, I drink tons of water too. I just like to drink!

I know you'll just roll your eyes Mike but my favorite character right now is Amanda on Ugly Betty. She is able to be catty, shallow and ditzy but for some reason you still love her and just wait for her to be on each episode. I really hope she gets nominated for a supporting actress role one of these days b/c she is so great! Even though you didn't like it, Ugly Betty has been wonderful so far this season and that is such a treat since many returning shows have been kinda sucky up to this point.
Besides UB, I love Creed on the Office. I was just telling Adrian someone should put together a montage of all the random things we've learned about him. He's so mysterious...and creepy...but so so cool. Haha :)

1408 really wasn't scary Mike, I promise. Favorites would probably be The Ring, The Labyrinth (creeped me out as a kid) and any kind of psychological thriller (just not torture or cannibal ones, too much for me.) The one movie I will never ever watch and can't even think about it? Arachnophobia. You would probably have to take me to the hospital.

Shasta McNasty...just kidding, that was awful! Although, if you think about it, they totally did the Mc thing before Grey's. Who knew? haha.
Um, I really used to love My So Called Life. It was such a teen, mid 90s, grunge era show. Really captured that time well but only lasted one season. And it really started the careers of Claire Danes and Jared Leto. I also really wish Felicity lasted longer than it did...I'm getting teary just thinking about it.

I just read on USA Today if the strike lasts long then Lost's season will be shortened to 8 episodes!! This sucks big time, especially if you like late night or soaps. I will be really sad if YR goes into repeats, HELLO, Victoria is in a coma! I have to know what happens!! :)

Om my gosh Matt, we have so many Five Iron memories to share with you!
I am a music junkie so it is hard to choose but... my favorite bands are:
The Killers (I can't wait for the B-sides album next week!) check out their songs Bones, Shadowplay or This River is Wild.
David Crowder Band, check out A Beautiful Collison or Remedy (too many to mention really).
No Doubt (they're reuniting next year, woo hoo!) my fave songs of theirs is Sunday Morning.
Other bands I love are 311, Jimmy Eat World, Bloc Party, Mute Math, Duran Duran, White Stripes, and Cake.
Let's not even get into individual music artists because then I could go on and on and on. :)

Yeah, he was sooo mean to Christina! I would have been like "Shut up already!" And I could not believe the blondes didn't even want to hug at the end b/c the one was covered with mud. They have got to be acting.
About the clothesline thing, that's just how they do it over there. Most people don't use dryers, either b/c that's they way they're used to drying clothes and also b/c dryers use a lot of energy. I wish it wasn't so dusty here, I'd use a clothesline! I just wouldn't put my bras out in front of the neighbors, that was hilarious!

I with you Scott, I despise pumpkin pie. But I like pumpkin cake and bread, go figure. I LOVE stuffing. Especially stuffing on a turkey sandwich with a little bit of crapnut relish (Adrian named my cranberry apply walnut relish this) the next day! YUM! We will be watching the ASU/USC game and cheering on our Devils. Probably play some board games and be silly with my family too. Have a great vacation Mike and Jina!

Natty Gann!! Oh I loved that movie when I was younger. Not that I can really comment since I'm a girl and I cry at many many movies. One I always cry at is The Sound Of Music when the father sings Edelweiss at the end. Ugh. And The Pianist for the same reasons as Schindler's List, beautifully human and heartbreaking. I guess Kimmel and Damon have had a fun feud for years and Kimmel has always made fun of Damon by saying he's coming on his show and then running out of time. There's also a video from last year where Damon actually comes on the show but Kimmel does a really long intro and after Damon sits in the chair, Kimmel says the show is over. Damon gets pissed and storms out. People thought it was real, you have to watch it on you tube (just search for damon kimmel and it's the first video), sooo funny!

Matrix is my absolute favorite Sun. I am devastated. I'm really mad at the Suns and it will take me awhile to get over it. Shaq is 36, right?? You've got to be kidding me. We'll get two seasons out of him if we're lucky. He is OLD and INJURED. This is the worst deal I've ever heard of and I have no idea how it solves some of our salary issues. Plus I hate Shaq since he left his wife and like 5 kids last year. What a jerk.

Great great episode! I love Sayid, he is such a badass, slick assassin! Ben must have regained some power to hold over Sayid's head since he must work and kill for him to protect the survivors still left behind. Obviously Ben knows how to travel back and forth so he still hasn't shared that ability with the Losties. Otherwise, Jack and Hurley could just go back to him to find out how to return. Maybe I'm wrong but who knows! haha.

No, it makes me very happy actually. Yes, I think Brett was a great player, it's just that the Packers are my enemy so anything that will help us beat them next season is good to me! I didn't think Kristy Lee was as good as you did. I really can't stand her actually. Especially the way she stands with her legs far apart all the time, drives me crazy. I also don't care for Carly. She has a great voice but is too Celine Dion-ish. It wouldn't sell records nowadays. I like Brooke the best of the girls but really I love the guys this season so much more. I wish more of the guys could stay than the girls this year!

I was going to mention the Sayid thing too. If he is working for Ben in the future, he obviously changes his mind about Ben. So I'm guessing the ousting of Michael to the captain has really bad consequences. About Aaron, I took it to mean when Kate's lawyer wanted him to be brought in as a "character witness" that people knew she adopted him or whatever for a "dead" Claire. Maybe that's just me speculating though!

I freaking love David Cook. I couldn't care less if his haircut is a little sloppy, I think he is awesome! And he should have some swagger b/c as Simon would say he has "star potential!" That note he held was amazing and he sang with so much passion. Loved it! Now I have to decide if I actually want someone this good to win the crappy AI contract. Maybe he should finish at two so they don't stomp out all creativity from his first album...

I totally agree with you this week Jason. Even though it bugs me to see Kristy Lee do well in yet another sequined shirt. And my fave David Cook picked a weird song. FYI- this little light of mine was performed by the clark brothers not jonas brothers (they're a cheesy boy group from disney or something.)
michael was robbed but like we said it was bound to happen to one of the contestants just like every season.
i'm going to make my pitch for everyone to watch "so you think you can dance" this summer. the voting process, elimination, originality and technical level are at a WAY higher level than AI. i have consistently enjoyed it more for the past 3 years. give it a try! i was so happy to see some of the dancers from past seasons at the beginning of the idol gives back show!

yeah, Adrian and I are seriously considering being done too. this is by far the lamest season with the exception of david cook. but if they do some serious changes to the format then i will give it another chance, b/c i am weak like that! :)
poor david a. is a little daddy robot, i really feel for him. i can't imagine what it would feel like to be one of those stage kids your whole life. poor guy!

don't you think the whole "producer's choice" song is really a way for them to screw with the contestants? i mean, they can pick crappy songs for people they want off the show, etc. i think it is such a stupid and biased idea!
i was laughing out loud during david a. trying to cover chris brown. omg. you have to have a little soul in that song. that was the most vanilla r and b cover i've ever heard. and hearing david a. call a girl "mama" is hilarious!

that is so awesome mike! i also had a similar morning, after i worked out by swimming laps, i laid in the sun and prayed for awhile. it was so calming and perfect. i definitely want to put more of a priority on just being still and peaceful instead of my usual rushed prayers.

this is hard since i don't watch nearly as many movies as i should and many of the ones i did watch were very estinky. so of the ones i've seen in theatres this year my faves are paris j'taime and knocked up. there were a lot i liked too but i wouldn't call them favorites. looking forward to the good ones coming out soon, so i have hope!

I loved when he went over to Teri Hatcher though, that so funny with all the rumors about them. And you don't even think Ugly Betty should be have a chance?? Whatever! It wins awards and has high ratings for a reason. Of course The Office, we re-watched the finale last night too and it got us so excited for next week! I'm also looking forward to Heroes, Grey's (hoping it's better than last season) and Ugly Betty (just for you Mike!) We're going to try Chuck too. Heroes was great! I loved the part with Claire's dad at work :) But I'm with you, I hope Hiro's quest doesn't go on for too long. We also watched Chuck and we liked it so far. It kept our attention and we'll try it again next week.

Hey we just finished the Private Practice episode and it was really good!! Don't judge it off the lame intro episode from last season. It feels similar to Grey's, actually it reminded us of how Grey's was before the so-so season last year! You should give it another chance (or at least Jina should) :)
