why? just so it sits that much closer to the wall? just take your old flat panel and embed it into the wall...cheaper

I think the idea that there working with here is that these screens also have much higher picture quality and resolution. The gimmick is how thin they are, but I think you would buy them for the improved resolution. Is that worth $2,500 to you? Open question.
